The fastest I ever faced when I played in the 90s was 97 and that was a blur... can't imagine what 102 looks and sounds like. Also, the first pitch was painted, strike.
Compared to the other 100mph+ pitches, the 3-1 pitch looked like it floated in there but it was still clocked at 91 mph. These guys are insanely talented.

He has trouble locating his fastball up and away/in, as you saw, need to get those nerves out of the way and rein in that pitch, otherwise he will be a walk machine against MLB batters. That FB/SL combo will be DEVASTATING once he's on though.

Elbows are weird. Yeah it's more common for hard throwers to lose their elbow and you rarely see position players getting TJ or elbow issues because they a bit more of a "free" arm action in the field. At the same time though an every day person can go out there and throw the ball and his elbow can pop for no other reason than throwing is an unnatural motion to the body. There is a reason why fast pitch softball players can seemingly throw 100 innings in a row, they are still chucking it pretty good for underhand...but that motion is very natural and less stresson the arm)
