i got my back walkover in dah form watching this video! i already had my bridge kick over. i would definitely recommend doing it on a soft surface like grass, gymnastics mat, or a air track which was what i used. the most helpful tip was you should all remember to do us to title your head back and keep your eyes on the ground it helped me a lot as i kept on falling or twisting over!

My friend taught me the “putting your head backwards before doing the backbend” bit and it really helps! Love from the Netherlands 🇳🇱❤️
For those people who are scared to do it on the mat, I recommend doing it on the trampoline, but do not worry if you do not have that, try it on a bed so you can get the feeling of it on a soft surface so if you fall it will not hurt. But mainly try it on a soft/bouncy bed first so you don’t have to do it on a low and hard surface. Hope this helped! :)

Great job with the detailed gradual build up to finally daring to do the back walkover. It's definitely scary to go backwards at first!

I don’t do gymnastics but I love doing it at home so I use random UA-cam videos to find how to do things! I recently got my backbend kickover so now I wanna learn this! I’m trying my best but I can’t keep my leg up while going down backwards. and lol I just re watched the video and payed as much attention as I could 😂 and I realized I was doing it wrong 😆

I did gymnastics for a long time. I actually was working on my Back tuck. Then I quit for a whole year. I'm starting to get back into it and this tutorial made me get it in less than 10 minutes.
