Who else has learned a new skill during quarantine? I really improved my splits and I got a back half twist and now I'm working on a back full twist! TC2 has helped so much during quarantine with keeping me happy and fit thank youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!
I learned how to do a cartwheel like a few weeks ago now I’m doing it everyday I first learned on the trampoline but then learned it on the floor and I finally got it I was so excited because for some reason I can do a round off but not a cartwheel it was super weird but I finally got it!!!

i’ve always self taught everything i know because i’ve never been in gymnastics my parents said i could find gym after christmas i have my chartwheel ,one handed cartwheel, round off and front tuck and aerial on air track so i want to get my back handspring so i’m working on this! i’m on thanksgiving break all this week so i think i can do this
What methods did you use to get these and how long did they take? I’m trying to self-teach myself these things, and do i have to be super flexible to do them? Thank-you!
@@tamara.senouni you don't have to be really flexible but it does help like for ur cartwheel u don't but if ur doing your backbends ect maybe try some of Anna mcnultys flexibility videos bc they help and make sure you don't attempt an Ariel without air track bc u can rlly hurt yourself
@@tamara.senouni You don’t need to be flexible! although you should stretch. i used youtube and i just went for all my tricks and eventually with tips and stuff i got them while 5 months later i have my back handspring working on my back tuck still without going to gymnastics. You can do it!

I can already do my backbend and I used to be a pro gymnast but with Covid I’ve lost the skills to do my kick over and back/front walkover. Hey girls! This was a wonderful tutorial complete with so many helpful details and manageable progressions! I was a competitive gymnast and a coach, and one other thing that I would also stress for the backbend step that y’all didn’t mention when talking about back flexibility is shoulder flexibility. This is extremely important especially if you’re not as flexible in general doing the skill, to give you more power and stability, as well as less area to cover, so to speak, when kicking over. This will also make it easier to stand up from the skill. Hope this is valuable to some people! :) Love your videos so much Megan, Ciera, and Maggie! 😊

@@krystlemarquez86 try going off of higher surfaces or a wall and get lower when you can get over easily then when you get to the floor try to get to the handstand so your leg can pull u over
Also a tip is my coach told us to get a surface thats a little bit higher and put our foot that we kick with on it then keep the other foot on the ground.

i was just watching youtube one day and then all the sudden they pop up and i am on the cheer team at my middle school and they help me so much. i learned how to do a few things from them and they are the ones who actually helped me make the team. i was panicking cuz tryouts were soon and i was not flexible now i can do back handsprings and tumbling routines and so much more. thanks TC2

I did this while like putting my hands on the wall and going down and I put a pillow under my head and I got it but I was scared to get rid of the pillow and after a couple days I got the confidence to get rid of it and now I can do it tysm girls

I already have my backbend kick over (partly thanks to them), yet this was the first video I clicked on. Edit: Also, I forgot, but with working on the kick over, if you don’t have anything high enough to probably help you get over, you can do it against a wall. It can also help with getting straighter legs.

Pt2 Helped so much! Ik how to do pt1 so I was happy to get both in 1! It was way more helpful! When I learned a backbend I learned it by my self on my air track with a little help of my mom! @@myrawilson7824 if you can commit, try to straight ur arms and leg so to do that, you have to push off the floor with ur leg hard enough and lock your arm. Your EYES have to keep looking at your hand
I didn’t get my backbend kick over but I thought it was in one day so this is unnecessary. Are we exposed to her right now because I didn’t get my back and kick over just kidding. I love you guys. I have been crying for 25 minutes because I’ve looked up 16 videos on how to do a back bend kick over and every single one has said the exact same thing
I honestly don't think so! I have seen tons of people older than 15 in my gym but some gyms do have age limits. maybe check out ur local gym and ask if they have a age limit.

Today I decided I’m going to try to learn a kick over so I tried off my bed…then the couch…then went outside to get some hills. I did everything I could but I can only do it off of hills which is an improvement but I need to try to get it off flat ground so this video was really helpful :)
