I'm excited for the future of the talaria. I'm going to buy one soon enough, I really hope will be able to push and modify them as much as the surron !
It’s kind of silly that they have classes based on the voltage. So you could have 60 V bike with 50,000 kW then another 60 V bike might have 5 kW. Definitely not a good system to regulate the classes by voltage
Aye bro! Dope video. I’m currently in the market for an Ebike. I’m completely torn between the Talaria sting or the Enduro supermoto Ebike. I’m using it to commute in downtown Austin, not so much trail riding. You have any advice for a 20 year old who’s about to drop 5 grand on his first Ebike??
@@eastwood111 the 12000w enduro Ebike is what I was referring to, they’re sold on the enduro website for $4,399. It just kinda looks like a supermoto to me lol
@Carlitos R Haha, yeah. There were 60v ChiBattery BAC 4000 bikes in there. The Talaria was the only bike with a stock battery/controller so instead of running a Stock Class and a 60v Mod Class, they just combined the two classes and I raced everyone. All good!
It's pretty clear that the guy in the white tee that passed you, just relies on piwer because he can't Corner very well. On equal Machinery you would best him
@el poet Ah! I unfortunately won't be there. I'm back at my home base in Colorado for a bit. I'll probably catch some of the rounds more toward winter time. You should definitely take your stock Sur Ron! It's a lot of fun even on the stocker. 🤘
More to follow as I'm testing the stock Talaria now - I think it could use a 21" wheel and some other improvements but will expand on that when I get to try those changes. Was that a standard powered bike? Trying to convince myself that i can get rid of gas powered dirt bikes. Don’t race, just muck around with the kids in the woods. Wouldn’t mind being able to ride some MX tracks for fun and NOT case every jump. You seem to be fine on this track??
I think its perfect for your use case. If you wanna be competitive on an mx track though that's a whole other story. You won't case every jump, but you might not have enough power to clear a table top, then you land flat and bottom out. These are great bikes for just blasting around in the woods though. I just kinda explore in silence everywhere with it. Built a couple of single track type trails deep in the woods. Good fun. Its about $12k to get these bikes to the point they are somewhat competitive with a gas mx bike.
@@kwent86 thanks for your reply. You can buy fully modded ones complete here in aus for about $13k. Lot of money, but that's fully upgraded - battery, wheels, suspension etc. I shall continue to watch. Or just buy a stark varg haha
I wouldn't expect these to perform quite like a new model on jumps, yes you can do basically anything under 30ft gap with a long run up but when you case the suspension is often soft. If you take it easy and just love to rip around responsibly then these are absolutely sweet but they can't replace gas dirt bikes just yet. Btw this guy is riding what looks to be a 65cc and under track, a real moto track would be a nightmare on these, it's dangerous to be on the track if you live in California, ( lots of super fast riders flying around ) if you have tracks near you that are either not busy or have classes of practice than that would be better. If you want to ride mx, buy a new 250f mx bike and rip for half the price, if you want to go the electric route, wait for the start varg. If you want to play around in the woods and occasionally rip an mx track when very few other riders are around then go with the upgraded sur ron.
You need the Drill One. or a controller that doesn't govern the power on tap. The future of racing is going to be boring without the sound, lol. I have a feeling the races will be inside arenas like roller derby and you try to knock each other out to make up for lack of sound, lol.
I'll miss the sound as well, but think about how many riding areas have closed and are at risk b/c of noise complaints? The rise of 4 strokes didn't help matters.

@AZuRaFPS Definitely looking forward to all the upgrades that are on the way!
They already got a BAC8000 attached to it not long left until they release a 72V 48ah battery for it will be sick 🙏💯💯🔥
Great video. We should have the Talaria GLE BAC plug and play kit ready in late may for more power so folks can be competitive against the Surron.
Awesome! Hope to race with you again!
You two are such good ambassadors to our fledgling sport... Good on ya!
Dam did not even know they raced e bikes at Pax, my neighbor hood track. Hope to say hi next time your in town.👍

50,000kw? Hahahhahahahahahaha
Pushing 833amps? Lol. But overall, I agree 👍
@@leetjohnson you can do it bro, far driver controllers can push 1800a at over 108v in some cases
@@Thrillowatt broken chain, guaranteed.
@@Thrillowatt these bikes are not designed for more than 72v at about 15kw. Motor will fry.
Just wait untill they release Mods for the Talaria it's going to rip through the Sur Rons
Great job on 2nd place. 👍🏽
Man this looks like so much fun!
Tucker will you be testing the Sur-Ron Storm Bee?

You have any plans to buy or review a stark vaug
Keep the content coming, good stuff
A 60v class is totally not fair. They could be running like 15kW on a Chai battery lol.

How can I find these type of races in my local city?
what mods do you have on that thing?
Hey Tucker, How would a 2022 Freeride have done out there! Curious. Thanks Larry
it would have crushed lol. Sur ron is kind of a different class.

I was thinking the same. He shut the door.

Chain in dirt, belt on the street.
