- These are tips & tricks I wish I knew sooner in DayZ. This is a small beginner guide and even intermediate guide due to how many of these tricks people don't do. DayZ is a difficult game and having 'how to do this' content can help people survive longer.

I love the sporter.....and running blind.....and waking up on the coast 😂😂😂😂😂
if you scout there is high chance that person who spawned after you is gonna catch up to you. i would say that better than scouting is just run for it as quick and quiet as posible, it works 85% of time

Near the coast quick and quiet. Further away scout and then quick and quiet.

@@TelmenBudsuren well since i very often run without gun in hands(to run faster) i sometimes die. but thats still good statistic, you cant allways survive, my strategy is to be at right time at right place. I personally think that DayZ is about 2 factors, time/timing and luck. In my 1400 hours i mostly plaied solo so i dont see other players often. It is all about what are you trying to achive with life that you got, at least for me

Heyyy now. I killed every zombie in the zelenogorsk military base by standing in the back of the truck with a sporter. Then I was able to peacefully loot to my hearts content. I have also killed another player with a sporter that was shooting at me with a winchester at a well with the sporter. Took like 10 shots though, lol. I have the sporter in real life, so Im biased I guess. I got excited when I first found one.
Use what you know, I've gotten more kills with a pump and a revolver than any other weapon
Tried killing a cow with a sporter. The thing casually pranced away from me while laugh moo'ing
I really wish you could saw off the sporter, imagine a 30 shot mag fed gun that only takes up 10 slots. And the fact it uses 22lr stops it from being too op
Sporter with a scope though... good for clearing annoying zeds.
Every gun is seceretly good if you use it at its attended length. I shot a friendly geared guy in the coast with an ij once into the head and he went unconcious whilst he was wearing the assault helmet.
I like how you said he was friendly. That wasn't very nice.

I was running thru novo when i started getting lit up by a sporter. The guy got off 20 rounds of his sporter only ruining my equipment didnt make me bleed then I 1 tapped him with DMR
Geared players fall victim to my sporter 22
The sporter is a great ranged gun if you have a scope and bottle suppressor
For zombies maybe.

No matter what you do in this game it doesn't matter
That's just bad luck man. I've never had someone log in behind me, but I have logged in to find myself surrounded by a group of players chillin in a building eating. I was murdered immediately. 😅

The more I learn about this game, the happier I am I don't play it

There is not reason to have a sporter unless your looking to make another player bleed to death cause they have more wounds then bandages
Are their crossbows on console and whwre do you find them?
Yup. Barns and hunting locations like stands and camps are probably your best bet. But they can be pretty much anywhere. Castles, industrial buildings, regular houses. But good luck finding plenty of bolts for them as well. I know you see UA-camrs and streamers running with them all the time but people play on modded servers for quicker content.

@@EgoGhostXYou can craft bolts from short sticks too. They may not be as powerful as standard bolts, but they'll kill a Zed in one shot.

Wish I had known if you have a bayonet on your gun and you throw it, it may just clip through the map and you'll never get it back.
