All of my videos have been public so far. It's just that you, a member, can watch the video right away and do not have to wait until it is released at the scheduled time I set for it. That is one of the perks you get for your member level.

It's not abandoned. It's just loaded in your game. You can collect resources from this base, and will not affect the original base in the other player's game.
