Hi Kenesha, I just watched this video once again, I remember watching it last year. I really enjoyed the information you shared, particularly your previous working experience and what it must have taken to make that leap. Wow!! Thank you for sharing! 🙏 I must admit that I am intrigued by the aviation industry....🤔

Hey! Thanks for the question. Training can be challenging but it’s definitely doable. Just be focus and study hard. To my knowledge you are not tested the first day. All the best!
I learned a lot. I hope you grow your youtube channel. Youre off to a good start :) . i applied for flight attendant and im at the third waves of interviews the salary promised was 50k .. Are you saying this is the flying salary and not the reserve ? I know the training is at a lower salary it was written in the description but yeah..just trying to understand what im getting myself into lifestyle and salary wise.
Hi thanks for watching! So for my airline you’re paid an hourly rate; reserve and block holder is the same hourly pay. However we are also paid perdiems (allowances) it will always be different based upon what your schedule is. I hope that’s clear. And all the best for you!!!
Hey love your channel keep it up ❤️ I would like to ask how are the layover when you first start ? Do you usually flying domestic or you can directly be assign to Europe for example
Hello, thank you! Great question!!! So usually when you start, you are on reserve. Reserve is not always a bad thing, cause you can get amazing flying to Europe and other amazing destinations ☺️
Hello love! I have a question in regard to per diem. So does it per diem only counts when you lay over? Or it depends on how many hours your flying? For ex) if I have a flight yyz-mco it only includs like lunch? Because its only 2hours flight? By the way I love your channel and your lovely❤️
Do you know if Air Canada mainline would consider an applicant who is only a Permanent Resident but holds a British passport (which allows one to travel to even more countries than a Canadian passport does)?
Hey!! Lovely video! I have a question! I have training with AC tomorrow in customer service specialist! My question is that is it legal to work with two different airlines at the same time. I am asking because my plan is after i am working with AC for a year, i will apply for a flight attendent position with Westjet( part time) and i will still be working with AC ( part time). thanks for answering my question!! 😊😊😊
Great question; as far as I know. It is not legal to work for both at the same time, but you can always speak to the union to get clarity. Airlines essentially are competitors, if you see what I mean.
Hey love! I would like to know if the pay is based on experience or if seniority can be carried over with the same union. I am a nurse looking to start a career in flight attendant! Super excited about it thanks !
Hello my dear, great question. I will be covering pay in an upcoming video, however everyone is paid the same rate of pay when they just start. I will go in a little more detail in the video. Thanks for your question and good luck to you🙏🏾❤️
Hi Kenisha! Thanks for you video!I would love to know (If you can) if those allowance’s that you received while your are outside of your home based are paid in cash ,or credit and if you really need to spend it for food or taxi in the country you actually are?Can you keep it as an extra paid?Thank you!
Hello, great video ! Just would like your opinion : is Air Canada or Westjet better ? Pay, benefits, etc... What's your experience about them both ? Also, on reserve, how do you prepare the international change last minute if flying abroad?
To your second question; I prepare by packing smartly (winter and summer clothing ect) there is constant changes, so a positive open mindset is also key.
Hello 👋 nice videos, thanks for your information and I have question, Do flight attendants get paid while the plane is on the ground? Like if you have to wait at the airport couple hours do you think you will get paid for the waiting time or you just get paid during the flight hours.

Hey girl! Is it possible to do more than 75 hours? And what would be the maximum number of hours you can fly? Because with the 75hrs it wont cover basic living cost 😅😅
Angela, awesome question. Yes we all have different needs, right. Some months 75 hrs is sufficient for me, but there are months that I do more hours. At my airline, you have the option to do more than 75hrs☺️
