Lets say it like this. As far as I am concerned a G31 530i 6 cylinder petrol BMW averages in consumption levels near to this.
They should do a 2 door G80 to replace the Genesis Coupe
A lot of genesis have the notorious center console rattle . Just search on the forums
they don't put the wet dual clutch in these?
to 100% the best luxury Korean midsize sedan of the world, and for a fair price.
It’s also the only one of those, so…
@@alh06 yep 😁
@@alengreen589 Also not for a fair price, since it now lacks any value proposition. So your point is just wrong.
@@alh06 Sorry.
@@alh06 you don’t have to be a douche about it
Topher, what's your dailym
22 BRZ 👍
korea!! 🇰🇷
omg genesis are awesome, i wanted G90 but 4l engine is way too much
I have been annoyed by the rattle this week
The issue I have is when you go up in models, they're supposed to be faster than the one below. At least they didn't carry over the G70 dash
Wish it had better mpg
It gets better mileage than sticker I got 31.5 mpg last trip 400miles+ at 70-75 mph average
wow...these cars are not the financial deal they used to be
I was okay with everything until you said you'd take it over the BMW M340i!! These are not in the same car class. I feel you should compare it with the M550i, even though I feel like comparing a Korean car with a BMW should be illegal...
To be fair, he said he'd take the G70 over M340i.
how is this rattling noise even acceptable in any car?
Rattles are a deal breaker for me
Its his tester. They don’t all do this..
Best sport sedan with rear steering wheel.gemans cant do such things!
❤️❤️❤️❤️
this are fantastic car ; would take it over beemer every day ;
nah bmw > genesis, bmw got sport and luxury
@@protokille9111 i mean if u consider price Genesis is much sweeter deal, that's the whole point of those luxury hyundais, they offer much better value.
Also reliability is much better with hyundai id never own modern bmw, just lease, while with genesis id easily take my chance
@@Angry-Lynx yeah ngl for the price it’s a snag, but fr if you could afford similar price beamer with similar price genisis u wouldint take the beamer?
@@Angry-Lynx Genesis engines have worse reliability than modern BMW engines, and offer no value proposition anymore.
@@alh06 Tell that to CR reports genesis is above them in both JD power and CR reports. My father has owned 3 from the 90s and my mother all said they were shit. I can’t believe a guy actually said a german car is reliable. Remember the bi turbo v8 they had? Yeah you want to call that reliable? The only reliable engine they have is the B58 which is why Toyota used it and even made changes to make it more reliable. When you buy a bmw its just for performance and the name you aren’t buying for reliability… And no value? You know the Hyundai equus still goes for above $30K CAD even after 10 years out of production. You bmw fanboys are delusional just do research before you comment damn
Still waiting for the g803.3t to go below 20k
You’re gonna be waiting 10 years they hold their value now if you look at market place
LOL 20K!?
Bro a new car is out of your budget!!
This 3.5T sounds amazing with a valved exhaust someone did it on the gv70 and i think hyundai/genesis should offer a valved exhaust for this one and not just the G70
korean cars have come long way. this car is better than fuckin outdated lexus
the hyundai engines always sound so bad with all that ticking
I wish this car comes with manual.
So the press car has a rattle and they want how much? 70K??? The test of whether this is a great,, well made car and a complete bargain will be what it looks like in 5 years. The Korean's have a habit of false-bling that looks great for a while then quickly reveals itself as a cheap fake. Sadly, who can wait that long - which is why a little rattle is just such an own-goal. It screams cheap.
In this trim, its only maybe 1-2k difference versus a German car.
But still has more features…
I can't do rattles
Give it a few years once depreciation hits and what a value this car will be.
U can say that about literally any car doofus lol
@@trstnhn Yeah Toyota Corolla and Rav 4 hybrids are basically worth the same today as they were when they were new 3 years ago. Right?
@@IKhanNot look up the 2020 G90 it still holds 80% of its valve after 3 years so that’s invalid my guy 😂
These are great but man, they've lost their value proposition.
Hi 👋
I like this car but I wouldn't buy one just because I don't want to drive around with a computer screen sticking out of the dash.
Interior looks like a Chrysler
That rattle is a deal breaker. It is very annoying even in the video. I wouldn't be able to have that.
I'm waiting for my GV70 3.5TT, that rattling has me concerned. I haven't seen much feedback about that rattling in that SUV
because there is no rattling on the gv70 lol
love the look and the performance but my concern is the longterm reliability. I don't gain much confidence from long warranties alone, I prefer to rely on an automaker's track record of build quality.
Rattling ? At that price point? You'd have to be a fool to spend that type of money on a product that clearly isn't the luxury it's trying to portray.
That rattling is annoying man
I think because it's a press car and press cars are driven hard by multiple people
@@Mm.2112 Shouldn't be rattling that fast. Fit and finish. It's a cheap vehicle. I'd rather spend the money on BMW or Mercedes at that price point.
@@Mm.2112 Should never rattle, 70k car.
I agree with you
shits rattling more than my old sti
He said specific their was something wrong with his tester relax
The best of its kind! Germans ones stand lower.
If I’m paying 70k for a car I need 500 or more horsey
so for sedans your only option is a Charger 😂
