You can simply uncouple the hog rings holding the seat cover and foam to the frame. You dont need to unhook the seat cover from the foam. We did in this case as we were replacing the seat covers.

Just wanted to let you know that it is possible to install these without having to take the seat apart. My foam and seat material were in great seat but the seat bottom springs were definitely done for. I was able to maneuver the new one in and hook it up to the springs and clips all in about 30 min. I do think that I need to replace the 3 back springs though as there is still significant movement after installing the seat bottom spring. I'll be ordering them next week.

My seat foam and cover are in perfect condition. Do I actually have to strip the seat right down to replace these or can they be incerted into the seat frame and stretched out onto the clips without having to remove the foam and frame?
