I still run it on my old machine for gaming. The mouse just feels better compared to win10/11. Steam fixes still need to be made for the program to work properly.
Probably would be best off with Linux Mint. The program compatibility is better than Win7, and it's properly supported. And the desktop environment it feels like Win7 to boot.
I remember playing Pimball i think(?) on my Windows 7/Vista, those were good times.

What about d3d12 support? Many new games dont support OGL and Dx11/
@@Wkaelx Microsoft partially ported DirectX 12 to Windows 7 in 2019. I say partially because it's more a D3D12 wrapper over D3D11.
