Official music video for the song. Shot on location in New Delhi, Agra, New York, Paris, Prague, Death Valley, Joshua Tree. Directed by Paul Boyd. boydpaul.com
In high school in Denmark back in 1998 I met a guy who was an exchange student from Austin Texas. We became close friends and he brought this cd from his old high school in Texas to Denmark. We listened so many hours to their debut album and I just fell in love with their music. For so many years I have not heard the songs but tonight I found my old ipod classic and now I sit and dream back to then - some things should never change..... I just found out Josh died years back and I feel heart broken now knowing this - thanks you for all the times you took me to Euforia, gave me Rose coloured glasses or even made me speechless for 3 strange days........... I wish I could find Kevin who brought me the cd.
Today is the anniversary of his passing and we buried him on my birthday, January 21.. hard to forget my friend and spirit brother every year, but grateful for the time we knew each other! 🙏 😎
He really was the sweetest. I remember after a show in Indiana. He was on the phone with his mom. I popped in his room to say hi. He’s like do you want a smoothie. I was like, um no I’m gonna go outside and smoke snd have a shot but there’s s lunar eclipse. He was super psyched about that. Hahaha. Nicest guy ever- my polar opposite. Hahaha
I'm here in Rio de Janeiro missing him forever. always listening his voice, his songs and telling my friend's about this amazing artist, still one of my favorites forever
"Shot on location in New Delhi, Agra, New York, Paris, Prague, Death Valley, Joshua Tree" now THAT is how you make a rock video! :) RIP Josh. Loved your music
Josh had a great Voice ..But this song sucks ...I just cant get into it .. I Loved his other work but I respect him as an artist wanting to try different things and go in new directions ..this song just isnt for me.
This song is better than anything you will create in your entire life - including your 1/4th speed guitar cover of The Beatles’ “And Your Bird Can Sing” on your hideous shredder Ibanez guitar with lightning bolt inlays. 🤮
It’s 2023 and I’m still listening to him!

Josh was the best kind of guy you could ever hope to meet. the short time I had the privilege to know him was of the most magical of my life.
I'm sure he was
I see Buddhism in his lyrics!
This guy was a musical genius!

This guy was so talented! School of Fish was so ahead of their time. This song would fit right in today. You are missed Josh.
What happened to him
@@spacematter3645 He died of cancer. :-(
@@spacematter3645 testicular cancer and at a young age
The dude is talented, but it's not a compliment saying he would fit in with today's music scene.

Michael Guthrie you suck!

Dont think it 'sucks,' it's just very middling 90s alt rock pop. Its not bad. Its groovy in parts. But far far from a masterpiece.
