YES !about 95% of the stuff was from dollar tree. You can go to target/Wal-Mart and buy the actual brand for a few cents more.
@@ruthcampos4466 Definitely more than a few cents, more like a few dollars more per item but they are recognized names and quality we are used to.

How did you get the clothes to stay together? Did you pin them or use tape?
& most of those are dollar gifts so each person should make their own basket . Plus babies have sensitive skin
It's real cute but I think friends should individual gifts . After all the baby should get spoiled & it can really helped the parents out .

Really nice ideas to put in a basket but I sense a lack of thoughtfulness, no offense, why does it take a couple of friends to make one basket of items I see in the dollar store everyday. I get it's the thought that counts but when they open the basket I'm pretty sure they will feel the same. Sorry not sorry
OK guys I am in need of your help. My daughter is having a new baby after 15 years and I want to do a basket myself. I am lost at the beginning. What is the cloth in the basket? Where do I get it? I have a basket but that is it, I am starting from the beginning. I went and bought a nice basket but now what?

+lingywashere If you look right between 1:06-1:08 there is a piece of garment in the basket first before you put anything inside it. What is that and do I need to have one for my basket. I have brought the tissue and bows and some stuffers, but I want to be sure it looks professional. And thanks for your help.

Ditch the tacky party bows, use real fabric ribbon to make real bows. Skip the yellow shred. And use less of dollar-store items inside the basket, so that you less like a cheapskate
