Gorgeous looking basket. Can’t wait to try out my first basket. I hav been looking at a lot of your videos. I started two weeks ago looking at them. I always loved arts and crafts. I have done scrapbooking before but really need to get back to it. I fell and injured myself and down for 6 weeks so, I decided to. look at gift basket videos while sitting around. I saw a lot of videos but I enjoy yours a lot better. You are amazing Tracy. Much love

Very good advice!! I've had my own specialty gift basket business since 2001 & it's very important to factor in your labor & cost of materials if you want to make a profit. Love the bows.You are very talented in making those bows.They turn out beautiful!I can put together good gift bags and baskets but lack on bow making skills.I get impatient while making them even though a few of them has turned out well. I have even learned how to make bows out of wrapping paper, but now a days,personally, I enjoy making the gift instead of spending so much time on the bows.You do a fabu job!

Hi Victoria! I get my ribbons from The Dollar Tree, Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Pottery Barn, and Walmart. They all sell wired ribbon.

Oh my, just made mine tonight, and one thing I learned for sure is that you are an expert! You make it look so easy! Of course, I had to make my project more difficult by using a new faux woven wood milk crate (14"x13"x11") which is actually a really nice part of the gift. It was hard to "fan out" the goodies since all sides are vertical. I suppose there is a way to do a box as opposed to a bowl shape, but if so I couldn't find that video, lol. I kept referring back to your video every five minutes, especially on how to gather up the cellophane, fix the sides and tape it underneath. And yes, I found everything at the Dollar Store as you suggested. I didn't venture into making the bow, I bought one; maybe next time. Thanks for your help! You are a pro!

I watched your video on making a pampering gift basket for your daughter, with the cotton balls it was great! & I used some cotton balls for my nieces tin basket also, just half & filled the other side with fill & tissue paper, with products on top. It came out nice. Thank You for showing that,. Simple but great 👍 💐 🕊️

I checked out a VHS video about making a gift basket. It gave me the basic skills I needed and then I kept making baskets for family members and co-workers. Through practice, my baskets got better and better. That was over 10 years ago.

@@MindlessCrafting I have been watching how to make bows all day! That’s an art in itself! I’m exhausted from watching these videos. I am trying to use the ribbon I have which isn’t wired. How do I get it to fan out? Sigh! I have to keep practicing. I absolutely love your baskets! I look at these videos and think I’m creative and laugh and go “ya, right! It's nice. To make it a little more compact, I'd have taken the candycanes out of the box and put them in both of the mugs. :)

I really enjoy your giftbasket making. Just a suggestion, I would have added something ie candy inside the mugs. I have also used tuell netting inplace of the cellaphane. Your topper bows and side closures are fantastic.
