I have had one for years... was nervous about having the can in the van when traveling or driving. But I am thinking about getting a canister. I would like to do some cooking. Not sure how many uses you can get out of the cans.

Just Googled... Each 8 oz. butane canister will burn for approximately 2 hours at high heat and 4 hours at simmer to provide you with all of the cooking power you need.
