Pretty much a level one noob Thief just went from level one to five for the record doing that is pretty much almost impossible unless you do a special Quest and have special equipment. Cuz they should recruit him now before he gets higher level but if someone can get that fast that quickly that means he knows if few tricks cuz the level system doesn't matter if someone can figure out the system they can actually exploit the special side missions and get a lot of levels faster and he can tell them the trick but no they think they're the strongest in the world even though it took them months just to get to level five or higher.
I hope it gets better later on because the beginning is really some lazy writing, Everything felt too perfect, way too many coincidences it's almost like they were pushing him towards that role without trying to make any sense at all
