There’s lads that drive them and then there’s drivers. He’s a diver. Serious operator. Fast and smooth he has that zaxis talking
Good job. Great to get the job done when it’s dry. Seed in and all. Super
Those grey crows rob nests and kill all around them.Back in the 70s we had grey crows picking holes in the silage cover up in the far field.Could not get near them.Neighbour said ,go up with the gun, and your brother.you hide.under a bit of plastic.and send brother home.Crows came back, and i got them both with left barrell. My neighbour said that they were very clever, but they couldnt count.Enjoyed your video.
That new holland sounds great!
Great content again Adrian 👍. Them crows must be seeing reflections in the door glass. Bastards
Great vlog as per norm A..that rakeman is proving to be as handy as a small pot, can't wait for little bit of a vlog on the fergie and the start of the new shed...keep them coming👍
Very interesting video Adrian a whole lot of diverse content , the crows need taking care of in some degree. Love the fact that you are not going to be taking for a ride by builders or material providers. I dare say you could hire a builders labourer or helper/handyman? Also love the reverence you hold your parents in and the fact that their house is going to be provided with a great view. 👍
Great video. The scenery is so beautiful.
Buzzards gone from my area also. Had noticed the grey crows harassing them last year, they are vermin of the worst, heifer calving in the field, calf tongue and hoofs badly damaged by pecking greys, lucky i got there before eyes were out,
Local gun club had cage trap, put a magpie in the centre to draw them in,
Nice 👍❤️❤️♥️👍👌
If you build the blocks on their flat they would also take the pressure of back filling. I built a slatted tank that way.
Hopefully the grass gets growing.
Nev
Had the same issues with magpies two years ago, it's a pain! It's nesting season and they are very protective of their area. They see their reflection in the glass and attack it. We had to cover the glass from the outside to stop them. Pain in the ass!
Great video, I am looking forward to Wednesday's video because I am always trying to improve my cow roads.
Used to have the same problem with birds pecking the front door window. The solution was to prop a book with a picture of a cat against the window and thats actually got rid of them
Keep up the good work love the vid u are doing they are great. Hope ur family are doing well be safe ou there keep it up mate
It’s called a predator pray relationship once the food supply goes (the rabbits) the pray (the buzzerds) numbers decline to but once the rabbit numbers come back up after breading the buzzards will come back
It wouldn't look great to have a dead crow hanging above the door I suppose but it may be the solution, who's gonna see it nowadays anyway
Did you pick Adam in meath because the postage would be cheaper? 😉😂
Great video once again and great quality to 👍 glad your jacket got a local home. We'll done. 👍 Stay safe 🏴
Really enjoyed the vid but especially Gerry on the excavator - it was like watching Liberace on a baby grand !,
Are you related to Eleanor Rigby ?🎼
Those jackdaws are attacking their own reflections. They must have seen themselves, gone to chase off what they thought were competition and of course they are chasing their own tails. A shotgun will cure the problem in due course!
Crows see their reflection in the window, very territorial, hence the attacking. Amazing ground works and field works. Another great video Adrian 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
The shot of led is the only boy for the grey crows..
What beef bulls will you use on the cows. Consider a video on your AI breeding ..
Enjoying todays video
Are they jackdaws or hooded crows, because they are two different species? In the clip I thought they looked too big for jackdaws.
Had the same problem with a hooded crow! Only one solution and it involved a gun!
Had the same issue with crows attacking my house when I first built it. they are territorial and we're attacking the reflection in the glass, they damaged the rubber seals. I made my own Larsen trap and put a mirror in the back of it. It did the trick, I enjoyed dispatching those 2 crows and have caught many a grey crow and magpie with it since.
I love this channel 👍
I have a rakeman and seed same as u ,I find wind blowing seed a big problem ,I was going 2 drop down seeder near the tines a put side on horrow ,what do u think.
Adrian you are right. Gerry is a true professional. Just stand back and let him go! What a nice job. Hope your grass comes on strong for you. Thank you for sharing.
🇨🇮 🐄🐄🇺🇸
Hi Adrian, I always look forward to your videos, and how your getting on, I love your attention to detail, my father has always tried to install that in me and my brother on our Welsh Hill farm, we look forward to your next video. Thanks
Could you do a video some time about the different types of milk and how they are produced
Yeah I seen something here (south Dublin/ North Kildare) when I was topping. Topping would disturb the pray and often I see Buzzards in the sky. This day a pair of ravens hook the buzzard on by diving from a hight on to the buzzard repetitively. It drove the buzzard away.
The gray crows at the door. There cousins the magpies I know a very territorial. I think that the gray crow sees it reflection in the glass and attack that intruder (his reflection)
Is a jackdaw not a smaller bird? All black with a kind of a shine in his head and a black beak?
That Rake man serious job. Better still a Cavan man has gained extra ground lol.
Nice video Adrian
If the sunrise is to the front of your house maybe it turns the glass on the doors in to a kinda mirror, and the birds thinks it's a predator and attacks, tape a black bag for a few nights in front of your glass panels, best of luck
Good idea. I have red birds (cardinals) that attack the mirrors on my truck. It is close to their nest...
Gerry is a tidy man on a digger
Curtains will solve your crow problem. Looks like they are tryin to get in.... Maybe worth a try.
Great man in that digger, You are handy enough just stop with mass concrete walls for a machinery shed adrian put your thinking cap on thats a silly idea, Alot of thought needed yet💡 ,,, Great video👍
Wy do I know a lad named Jerry with the same Hitachi and tractor but ist on the other side of the country?????
Awsome video keep them coming stay safe 👍👍🏴🏴🇬🇧🇬🇧👌👌👩🌾👩🌾can you shoot them
Them crows are annoyin as hell we have them dokng the same thing but on the windows🤣🤣🤣
What the rakeman like on stoned ground
Hi Adrian, another great and interesting video,we know of older rooks raiding and killing buzzard chicks, obviously buzzards will eventually move away, not meaning that’s why yours have gone, may be they ran short on bunny’s.Anyway good to see you getting things done and not sat down taking it easy!😀
That crow problem looks like a job for News squawk!
Put a few mouse traps around the door will be gone in two days
Suitably impressed with that Rakeman, I doubted its ability when you bought it but, again, I was wrong.
Love your name.. lol
THEY ARE GREYBACK CROWS A JACKDAW CROW IS ONLY HALF THE SIZE OF A GREYBACK
Hi Adrian,my mum Anita has sent you a text on messenger about the birds attacking your door and may have an idea to stop them unless you've shot them 🤣🤣thanks Jack
Shot the tramps an saw a bird fight between a bazard an gray back crow an only 1 winner the bazard
I would recommend building yourself adrian you're certainly capable.
Shotgun sort that bird problem
Great video as always Adrian the thing with the crows is very strange never seen that before hope you get it sorted one way or another mate.
Could you do a vid of Nicole driving the tractor
Quicker than the corn fiddle Adrian.
Iv the cure for them crows ....it starts with a b and finishes with a b
You said my name and I thought I won
Crows love shiny reflections they tried that on my car once !!!
Is maith an digger
Any more work on the grey fergie?
Great man in digger I be shopping for a rakerman too super job grey crows at door here last week too strange one
Rakeman looks a mighty job how wide does spreader spread
Really nice farm, great view.
Adrian, just be careful with harrowing seed in after sowing.
It can Bury the seed too deep, evening harrowing deep as you seed can leave a deep slot that the seeds fall into
Speaking for experience 🙈
That Hitachi is some beast, the speed of that arm/bucket is something else.
They are excellent machines, very very frugal on fuel aswell even if you have the revs high all day.
Is there a reason you can’t shoot them and have crow stew?
Super tractor
Hi Adrian really enjoy your videos grew up in Westmeath multyfarnham, on a Dairy farm Now live in West Palm Beach Florida for the last 35 years Enjoy your video every Sunday Brings back a lot of memories I would love to see the results of the grass seed You did on the paddock

I hate 1 bird aswel as the jack dawls and there called starlings and the get in every where we have 2 chock them out with expanding foam
Tine Harrow better than the jarmet grass Harrow?
Statue of a real looking painted owl sitting on something across from the front door. No more grey backs - €15 in the co-op superstore pet section. Promise ya..... 👍🏽
Movie for the weekend --- Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds"! 😉😮
Would you ever consider doing a Q&A
One day I definitely will
Rat poison is a big threat to buzzards. Do you use ?
First
Great video. I’m glad someone else has noticed the price of everything has gone up. I’m waiting for things to settle before I buy anything else.
Air rifle 👌🏻 Brilliant video 💪🏴
Love that tine harrow now that I know what it is. You've got some beautiful land. Glad you're taking care of it.
Same thing with 1 massive crow, think it’s going to put window through and it’s learned the time I go to milk now so goes away them 10 minutes
That is a beast of a newHolland
Well done great video 👍
I worked with a guy and the same thing happened. Grey crows attacked his house for weeks. The cut down a tree and disturbed their nest and they were relentless. Banging on windows and flying into the house. Before he told me I'd never heard of it before. It was quiet an amusing story when he was telling me. Never found out what happened in the end
Those crows are like a couple of fellas trying to make there way home from the pub and landed at the wrong house. All been there
Basterd crows
Great video Adrian, lovely tidy bit of work, as usual!
Great video if I was you I’d build the shed myself from the esb poles last a life time
