I envision the highest quality of equestrian outfitting, from boots to saddle. Leisure-luxury, at its most brilliant. I think Cuir d'Ange sits atop this niche lifestyle. Hermés leather reigns supreme from Churchill Downs to Ascot to Melbourne. Wonderful, Zatura;)

Hello Pradeep, thanks for this great review. I sampled it really quickly a few weeks ago at the Hermès counter in Le Bon Marché. I sampled a few of the Hermessence before, so my sampling did not do it any justice. My nose was probably saturated by then. I did not get much leather / suede. But I got a strong similarity with Tom Ford's Santal Blush. This is extremely weird as the olfactive pyramids are nothing alike. I did enjoy Cuir d'Ange though. I definitely need to sample again Cuir d'Ange with an unsaturated nose this time.
Heya Sandra...Thank you! Interesting. There's a sharpness in the opening of both but smellwise, I thought they were different from memory. Yes, worth revisiting. I myself was not sure what to think about them on first try. They are indeed very soft. So I usually test them first on my sniffing spree before my nose is saturated😄 Bon Dimanche!

I have several Hermes classics, but none from the Hermessence line. I need to go back and sample several of them. I think that I hesitated in continuing to discover the line after smelling- Ambre Narguile. It has such high praise, but for me it was way too sweet. Thus, I was not impressed, but for me, it's just not a scent profile that fits me. I'm sure, this one would suit me better. 🙏

Do you ever get any nostril burning sensation from the Hermessence line? This is my history with it so far :(
Oh dear! I have felt that with heavy synthetic stuff like Montale but not with softer scents like the Hermessence. Maybe you're sensitive to some aroma chemical in there🤔
@@ScentZatura yeah, my nose is sensitive to the sizzle. If I wear it once in a while it’s ok, but more frequently it can become an issue.I developed a little bit of FOMO when I first heard the rumours of Hermesessence EDPs but later remembered why I don’t have a full bottle of anything 😓

Would love to hear your thoughts on that DS&D Amber Kiso I see in the back. It’s such a strange and intriguing scent. Some days I love it and others not. But I keep going back to it!
