  • In this video I head out to explore Baja California Sur in Mexico. During my stay I explored La Paz, Loreto, Todo Santos and Bahia de Concepcion.
This was a great trip and I loved exploring the area with Silvina. Together we visited the towns and beaches in Southern California, did some snorkelling, saw dolphins and sea lions and really had a great time. I'm looking forward to the next time I can have an adventure like this with her.
Baja California Sur is a state on the Baja California Peninsula in northwest Mexico. The state capital, La Paz, has the Whale Museum and a promenade overlooking the Gulf of California.
Baja California Sur is definitely one of my favorite places in Mexico and I think should rank as one of the best places to visit in Mexico.
One of the big challenges for me is the language barrier, but I've recently started to have one on one lessons with a tutor and they have been a big help. You can find my spanish teacher here:

Baja California Sur is a picturesque Mexican state renowned for its stunning landscapes, coastal beauty, and vibrant culture. With its turquoise waters and pristine beaches, it's a paradise for water sports enthusiasts, offering activities such as snorkeling, diving, and whale watching. The region encompasses the Baja California Peninsula's southern part and is characterized by a blend of desert terrain, towering mountains, and idyllic coastline. The capital city, La Paz, is known for its relaxed atmosphere and rich marine life. Cabo San Lucas, a popular tourist destination, offers a lively nightlife scene and luxury resorts. Baja California Sur captures the essence of Mexico's natural splendor, making it a sought-after destination for both relaxation and adventure. Thanks, Trailguide Pictures!

Planning a visit or moving to Mexico? Check out the Mexico Travel Journal amzn.to/3nTOSJO The Mexico Travel Journal is a small Journal Notebook I created for people planning to spend time in Mexico. More than just a journal notebook, the Mexico Travel Journal contains important information on travelling in Mexico like Tourist Card Requirements and limitations, Entering Mexico by Land and Driving Tips, as well as important Safety Tips. The Journal section contains a daily planner and a daily notes page with enough space for travel of up to 45 days. The Mexico Travel Journal also a valuable spanish phrase section with over 250 commonly used phrases to help you in your journey. Since Mexico is a country that uses the Metric system, I've also included several Metric to Imperial conversion charts for easy reference.

La Paz is at the top of my list of places to move. I still need to visit and do more research but it's the place that feels like home to me from the videos I have watched.

It’s one of my favorite spots but I also need to spend more time there before committing to a move. It is very hot and dry in summer

Another great video. Loved the integration of the drum beat music from one take as a an audio track elsewhere - captured the essence beautifully.
I’m originally from 🇨🇦 so I smile when I hear your Canadian accent when you say playa or La Paz 😉. I guess I’ve been in Cali long enough to notice it.

@@TrailguidePictures haha yup. But I never noticed “Canadian” accents until I lived in Cali for a while. Everyone still tells me I say “oooot” and “abooot” even though I don’t hear it 😊.

It's wonderful to see you and Silvina having some epic adventures 😎 I'm really digging Sombrero 2.0 awesome! I wonder if Silvina would enjoy Algonquin seems like something she would have a great time exploring the Canadian backcountry. 🏕

Yeah, I was happy to find sombrero 2.0 😂😂😂
I'd like to think most people would enjoy exploring the Canadian backcountry (at least in August or September when the bugs settle down). I'd love to show her around, maybe one day.
