What I would have done is instead of using black paint, I would have painted them the color of the stickers. I don't know how good it would look, but it might look a little more cohesive. Maybe I'll mod one myself some day

I think a matte black might have looked nicer than the glossy one you used, but I like it!
I feel like this would look really cool, and a lot more cohesive, if the outer edges (the borders between colours) were painted black as well. So when you look at one face of it, you see a solid coloured hexagon with black outlines. I think that would make the corners look less out of place, but still show off some of the stickerless look.
I used to always take the tips off my pyraminx but i never but a color on the empy side lol
Also, wouldnt this actually have 8 sides?

Putting these stickers isn't a good idea for speedsolving this cube, because the pieces are not so noticeable, but overall its a great and unique idea.

If I had to make one change I would make the stickers on the tips multi colored so if it was blue red yellow you cut a blue, red and yellow sticker into thirds and put them on just a idea though.

i actually force cubed the corners of my pyraminx with the opposite color and it works

I technically have one of these since my one and only pyramid has no corners. (It was pretty cheap and they kept falling off anyway so I removed them) Still very cool video.

personally i would have cut up the corner pieces and glue/melt them together to make a tricoloured top
I don't know if this would work but I you get one if the caps from the tips and sanded it down that could possibly be a replacement to the black

I actually just took the tip caps, not the screw to make a tetraminx, also people confuse this with the teraminx which is a bigger megaminx

a simpler way to make a tetraminx is to take a stickered pyraminx and to take the tips of, then cut of the connectors, and place stickers in there place.

6:20 Maybe you could have used carbon fiber? The Megaminx I have has carbon fiber on it and the parts under it are stickerless

You could call the puzle a truncated piraminx insted of a tetraminx.

I don't really think a stickerless piraminx is perfect, it doesn't have black or white, and most tetraminx can only me made with black or white part(sometimes only)
That was my first cube I got and my first soved cube ever

ironically a pyraminx is a tetrahedron but a tetraminx is not
i have a box full of pyraminxes and i didnt know what to do until i dropped one of them on the floor and kne of the peices came out and then j got the idea to make a tetraminx

I know that you use sugar to take non removable logos off and that does work but if you put nail polish remover on a paper towel and rub the logo and it works almost instantly

@@anthoanjcolonencarnacion8779 Well I cant help. But maybe because of the inner edge torpedo which maybe block it. Idk, but if its because of the inner edge, put the blocking edge around a corner with a Delta/traingle shape. If its because of the corner cap, check again if there is something wrong

Do you mean, if you were to swap one colour for another for two triangles on one tip of the puzzle? I think that would work, but the puzzle would have to be scrambled... It might still be noticeable by comparing it to the colours on the other tips, since they're fixed in place and can only spin. If you were really dedicated, you could probably swap all one colour for another on just the tips (as an example, all the red ones become white, and all the white ones become red, but only on the tips) then scramble the puzzle. Then there wouldn't be anything to tell the order of the colors.
If you were to just move all the caps on the tip around by one space, it would be like you simply turned the tip, so I presume that's not what you meant.
