i have never been loaded up with as much camping gear as some of these guys, but i always use 1st gear high range in JK Wrangler even in very soft sand and 15psi. not been bogged, even on Fraser. is low range giving too much wheel spin and not much forward momentum?
High range is good to drive through but once you stop in soft stuff, taking off in high range can work the clutch pretty hard. Bad for business to be saying it but...
You almost have to try to get a Wrangler bogged. The downside is, like a junky, you have to keep finding more extreme stuff to actually challenge it! Mine is a lifted, twin locked 2 door JL on 35"s & 4.88 reduction gears. Bloody thing goes anywhere
4 maxi's and a shovel....she's a winner!
Haha Old mate in the disco would want to be running back if he wants any in the next year she is a trooper
Those flags are beautiful mate love the channel

Ngkala, never ending story! Cheers, Scotty. Cris from Romania

The discovery on its tippy toes

@TruBluOffroad forgot to say it is auto, using 1st gear manually, but next time i will try your suggestion.

Yeah I often say 4x4ing is more fun in a crappy old sh**box with open diffs. Anything can be an obstacle and a challenge. 👌🏻
Have you seen any off the new Hilux Rogue out there before deciding to go through😂
I think the Everest man had too much tyre pressure and not enough Weetbix
Good on the young fella in the 60,but some people need to understand the definition of a "kinetic"recovery.
Yeah he tried but tyres were too hard to get him moving in the soft stuff.
The Land Rover is a Defender btw
That’s what the people in marketing say- yes.
You should have given her a lift and to tell her husband that he needs to get a mog and she wouldn’t have to carry the fing max tracks and a shovel 🎉
Ha no way navara is running 15psi
