The term "grey-area" means characters with ambiguous morality. As in, there's a world with clearly laid out bad and good, black and white, and then there are the shades of grey in between. Then again, I guess I’ll count him as sort of villain. As for Barbosa, he has reformed at World's End. And yeah, Venom and Darth Vader are total gray areas. Venom’s just a corrupted symbiote who’s taken bonded with Eddie Brock, who’s fueled by their shared hatred for Peter Parker (Spider-Man), but they have team up many times and soo became an anti-hero.
