My favorite Mod so far is the Kratos mod! Considering this model still has Drax's pants & holsters, it straight-up looks like a modern design of Kratos.
I'm hoping someone will make Razoul ("Agrabah Guard") playable in the future. Seeing Peter Pan be playable really makes me wish the summit winners picked a character from a property that hadn't already gotten a figure (since Tink's already in), but hopefully someone will mod a character in. It'd be neat to see characters from Encanto, Onward, and Gargoyles make it in (idk why just those for me, they feel like they fit).
We keep praying Disney Infinity will get rebooted. Own all the figurines. It’s crazy to think that nobody has thought to pick-up the pieces and modernise the whole platform (forgetting support on poor hardware platforms that create limitations - can you imagine what the FORZA HORIZON team could do with their reality engine!!!)
I agree with this 100% I wish Disney would consider a multiverse-esque game like Infinity. It was the multiversal medium before multiverse stuff hit pop culture tbh.

I don't play Infinity anymore, but I'm glad that the modders got Ferb working in the game. He was the one character that I was upset about the most that got scrapped since Phineas and Perry just didn't feel complete without Ferb. I was hoping that they would put him in for 3.0 since the show was ending that same year, but they didn't. Still wish they did release a figure of him, but I guess a mod of him is the next best thing. Also cool that they got Dr. Doofenshmirtz as well as it felt like the roster didn't have enough Disney villains.

Disney Infinity + Console modding sounds amazing. I would love a way to mod the console version and being able to use all characters, playsets and disc without the actual figures.
Modders... All i can think of that they're only modding in characters from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars, you can't just stick with only things owned by Disney If i was a modder, the first thing id think of is modding in a certain popular yellow Nickelodeon character Wouldn't it be great if we could play as Tasha from The Backyardigans
You know what mods they should try next? 1.) Getting characters from 1.0 who initially couldn't fly, to actually have flight mode similar to the 2.0 and 3.0 characters. For instance, Syndrome's Rocket Boots allowing him to fly. 2.) Tweaking the packs that allowed the player to fly, like allowing Buzz Lightyear's jetpack, Falcon's wings, and Doctor Strange's Cloak of Levitation by allowing all characters flight mode depending on who wears them. 3.) Adding custom mods for those who can do spot-on impressions for unused characters.
i think it would be cool, though what sold was the "toys come to life" aspect and they just werent as profitable as they hoped. i think in order for it to work in todays world is to have all the characters in bundles behind a small paywall. so all the cars characters would be like $30 or something. spiderman characters like venmon, green goblin, mysterio, spiderman, etc, would be in a bundle for $30 or something like that. i think that would be the best route considering most physical toys that you would get at walmart or something costed like $10-15 per character

To be honest peter pan was my favourite and that buzz could shoot lasers and ferb and doofenshmirtz and that guy who could make to put more toys in the toy box sometimes that's annoying me especially in my interior I wanted to custom every different theme for the rooms and I couldn't do all of them

Unfortunately not. So there's two things - console versions require the base AND figures to work. However, the Gold Editions on PC are ALL DIGITAL. No base, no figures required! So playing it digitally is the way to go if you're not a collector or want to experience the game without paying for figures you want/need! Hope that helps.

Something that might help console mods is an app I found that reads nfc tags tried it on a sonic amebio (all i had at time ) it read him right

Completely agree. There are other games like Forge in the Halo series and Fortnite's creator mode, but there was something special about the Toybox.
