*block mitigation cap at 95% and you can easily cap that and over with CP and Heavy Armor skill so you don't really need Grounding set. i would switch it with a set that give healing like Cyrodil crest, battalion defender, Hist Sap or if planning on tanking 10-20+ in PVP than Yokeda set is the way to go. Ball group trying to run you over, BOOM instant heal back to full health than they will just ignore you. the PVE set Test of Resolve also heal you and all your resource back to full bar when you are low on HP but only if you have less than 50% stamina otherwise it will only proc the other effect which is not that useful in PVP.*

You will be popping 40K+ Resistance with that set and class skill alone and with a healing set like Hist Sap or the other healing set on a Templar that have a lot of healing skill you will be able to tank a lot for a while until you run of resources to block and all. Holding block won't save you if you can't out heal the damage.*
I use that mythic with - Adamant Lurker and Alessian for trolling 5000 health recovery in pvp. Take note that recovery is always cut in half in pvp. So the mythic dont give 950 its more like 475 to the group ;) cheers.

Negates don’t do anything as you can still use scythe for burst heal because Stam abilities work in negates. Using immovable to prevent being CC’d. Luca cash has a video he first released a while back about rizzarisram and smoky releasing a build to be shared.
It helps when killing mobs as it does 2k+ per tick and does 1k+ tick to players but no it doesn't. I just haven't found anything to replace it yet. It does have good health stats so I kept it. Still trying new items as I get the chance. Will update if I find anything better.

Wonder If wretched would be better for pure survival? Magic sustain looks kind of rough with the scythe. I was thinking of using it in cyro just to be a nuisance and burn seige 😅

Finally got enough trasmutes to make this build. It worked really well in BGs. Helped two teams win today. With a healer, it really unbeatable. Seems like the Haarbinger/Leeching/Grounding is he way to go for this type of build since they nerfed etternal yokeda. Battalion/Crest can also be fun, but enemies get no damage. Seems like Crest got boosted in the latest patch.

Let go of block quickly on and off while expunging to quickly maximize your resource sustain. before i watch i just wanna say my build which is a necro vamp tank wearing nobility in decay, pirate skeleton, and currently if im in pvp, buffer of the swift or if im in pve, beckoning steel with i plan to get the aylied refuge set as my usual main in this second 5 piece slot instead when update 42 drops with than beyond that, i plan to go pearlescent ward and the lucent echo set also from update 42 for trials. as for cp points we got in the blue, ironclad, duelists rebuff, enduring resolve, and than in pvp impenetrable for the crit resistance and instead thaumaturge actually in pve where more dmg would be nice with than red has pains refuge, bastion since its gonna be using a lot of ice stave heavys so making the shield better is nice, and than rejuvination and sustained by suffering cause it doesnt have the best sustain. as for the abilites we got in order of right to left since i play on a keyboard and this is how i manage my rotations, summoners armor and mystic syphon both for a nice on self dmg aoe but also more importantly, the resource recovery boost with the nobility in death set and using summoners armor first meaning that YOU will be the corpse and hence how it will be an on self dmg aoe followed by blood mist, and deadly cloak with on the backbar you will use the spectral cloak arena set to get a juicy 6% bonus dmg mitigation and dmg boost so long as you make sure each burst of deadly cloak every 2 seconds hits your target with than lastly, im currently using grave lords sacrifice because its a nice dmg boost for blood mist but also as a general dmg boost since almost all your dmg is aoe with the 2 that arent still having 1 of them be a class skill meaning it still gets this boost with than lastly the ultimate on the backbar is glacial colossus. now as for the front bar, again right to left we have necrotic potency, spirit guardian, currently unerving boneyard though i plan to replace that with one of the soul pull abilites likely being the aoe one with if i can, id make sure it has major and minor breach applied to it with than currently again i am using the ice staff taunt but that also could change come update 42 with than the last spot is kinda a flex spot with i like using hungry scythe tho you could also switch this out for anything else and since you would be dropping unnerving boneyard from its current spot for update 42, maybe you could instead justify keeping unnerving boneyard and instead have the soul pull aoe do just minor breach which it 100% should be able to do. as for the ult on the front bar, it would be temporal guard for minor proc...... all of this combine makes for probably as close to the dmg mitigation cap as you can get with mind you i still havent finished making this build myself so it could be trash cause the dmg mit cap could be lower or it could do things multiplicatively instead of additively meaning even THIS MUCH still doesnt mean your taking no dmg but just means its going to be greatly reduced but still, i am loving it so far ;D
@@RetroGamersGuild his kinda of correct in his statement,his not trolling you. the nb can defo kill you 1 v 1 no problems. stun then burst but would be a very high risk play. i have actually killed a harb tank 1 v 1 he started bagging so i lined up a combo and droped his backside :) at that time i burst 60k hp,this is before nb have been over tuned,so i could easy do it again. but i got that tank becuase he was over confident he couldent be killed nobody around him to survive with ect ect,his mistake was bagging and me going ok then ill use this 500 ulti on you,quite sure i can get you,high risk as i lower my hp to like 40 percent never went lower and hit my bow straight after incap no light attack then chuncked with 3 vamp crits :) he msg me after and said wtf was that lmao
It’s builds like these that kill the games fun factor. ESO needs better balancing. It’s getting ridiculous with how unkillable people can be and then how fast they can shred you in seconds.

You can actually accomplish a lot in IC, Cyro, and BG with a pvp tank build. Most ball groups also have pvp tank builds. They are great for holding RSS, flags in BGs, burning everyone's siege weapons in cyro when everyone is there which is hilarious, chaos ball in BG, and ofc killing bosses in IC both up and below for a group if you slot a taunt

Snares and immobilizations can be removed with purge and modify. You can also run immobilization pots.

Both should work fine but Imperial should work really well for extra Stam and reduced costs.

Yes, leeching is fairly good and actually leeching and harbinger work well together but between harbinger and leeching harbinger is better.

It does for block mitigation. You can test by blocking and seeing the block mitigation go up.
A good NB or sorc will delete you in less than a minute/ and thats is 1vs1. Mobility is king.
