Hi! I wanted to tell you how much I love this pattern! I used it along with the row of jewels? I think that was the name alternating for a scarf. It somehow turned out great and i have another piece that is just this pattern that's going to be a hat. My mom taught me to knit when I was a little girl of 7 or 8 and I can tell you she would have loved this pattern and ,really, all of your videos!
What brand of knitting needles are those? Do you remember where you got them? Thank you so much for using bulky yarn and big needles for the demonstration, it really helps to see what you are doing!
They are addi needles, I got them from a store that was closing several years ago. You can find them on amazon and yarn.com or Jimmy Beans probably have them too.
Yes. You will delete the +2 from the multiple so won't be working the 2 sts at the beginning as shown in the video. Cast on any multiple of 5 - Rounds 1-4: k3, p2 Round 5 remains the same - Round 6 you will hold the yarn in back while slipping the loop instead of in front and change the p3 to k3 and change the k2 to p2 - Round 7 remains the same - Round 8 change to k3, p2.
