This is one of the few helpful videos for doing a field repair. The other videos just say “take the old hose off and put the new hose on” as if that’s any help at all.
I mean, it's not supposed to be a long term fix. It got me through the rest of the day just fine. I'm sure if it was a higher pressure line it wouldn't have worked so well. It's just another idea to have in mind if you're desperate and can't get a new hose right away
Unfortunately like most ideas I have, they come too late. Just like me having the idea of making a quick video of the solution to a leak came after I had already fixed it and returned the disc harrow to my neighbor. Maybe next time I'll think of it sooner. It held up for the extra half hour or so of work I needed it for, not saying it was perfect, but it helped me get the job done.
Thanks for posting! Used this on our mini skid steer today. Worked great! Wish I could add a pic....
Hey! That's great, and I'm so glad to hear that this helped you!

Til about 4000 psi
That is probably going to work for just a few minutes.

Show the 'fix' working maybe? That hose isn't even connected.

There's no way that worked
But it did.
It's just a temporary fix, not a long term.
