Good morning ma’am, thanks so very much for this video. I have been searching to understand the under bust tightening. Please, how do you remove excess from the true bust line and waist line on the Natalie Bray’s pattern.
Thank u so much. Pls do more video on natalie bray method. I need it. And pls ma, do illustration on how to add sewing allowance to paterns you will be drafting, illustration on how sew it. *Pls*
Thank you so much ma! This is very easy to understand, but i have a question i need an answer to so badly, that neck tightening, you said 100% - 120% depending on the size, is it the smaller the size the higher the % or the bigger the size the higher the %
Thank you. For example if you are making a bustier top for a size 12/14, then I’ll advice you do 150% tightening so it’s firm. If it’s a size 6/8- then do 100% cause the bust might be small. So basically you need to work according to the size of the persons bust.
I dont know if u would see dis,but please i have an urgent question, wat do i do if d ub is bigger dan d waist, how do i get d excess to create d bust curve..i hv a cliebt wit very tiny waist .remeasured so many times,so measurement isnt d issue..waist is 27,ub is 28
Hello Oh that’s interesting! You can add to the wait on paper then remove the extra from the SF on the wait when you are done so you can still get the snatched effect. Hope this works.
@@illustrationsbysophiajude5361 Yes i did. Watch from 1:45.. I measured my round under bust on the UNB line and connected to the waist using the excess value.
@@Kikejohnson i thought d same way as linda usman too...what she was trying to ask you is that from the excess u got which is 5.75cm on d round under bust line,u distributed 4.75 to ur left side while d right side was 1cm but u didnt miss out d dart,u calculated them together. Thanks for your tutorials so far🙏

Pls when am doing a neckline that is not off shoulder how much tightening should I do
What neckline do you want to do? It depends on the neckline and how deep it is. V-neck= 50%, round and boat =20% etc..
Thank you dear

Hello, thanks for the tutorial. When should I use 100 to 150%.
The smaller the bust measurement, the smaller the percentage.
I tried it out but the bust part was too small and pointy
Thanks you so 🙏🙏🙄but please what if I want to add a yoke will I still extend the shoulder dart please ???
Yoke at the back?
I believe it depends on the style you want to make
What I meant I want to add a yoke to my front pattern
Will I still extend the front dart
Please help make a video on manipulating Natalie brays pattern to achieve armhole princess dart bustier thanks

Hello, I don't understand your question
Did you share the UNB tightening value with the waist dart. Or you missed it out?
