you are truly an inspiration of the american dream...passion+hard work=amazing things! we're a family living in Italy with 3 young girls and are designing our new home your ideas are endless. thanks!
I love that the first video I pick to watch interior design ideas, mentions my beach town where we are remodeling our home! Love it! This is the perfect inspiration video💕
Wow it looks fantastic! Way way better. Who wouldve thought that going darker in the dining area would actually make it flow better. Like you're eye glides over it now from her kitchen bench as opposed to before. The chandelier was a great choice!
nice work! I just don't know about he brown leather chairs, she already had a pair of brown leather chairs why did you get rid of hers to bring new ones (which look pretty similar)? that doesn't seem to make sense.
Because they sell them.. $$$ they wouldn't let the opportunity u know... sucks because would be nice to see how your creativity takes you with the stuff you already have and make it work.
I read the comments; "why didn't you this and why didn't you that?" "It wasn't that bad... all you did was buy furniture?" I completely disagree. This transformation isn't just about replacing furniture. It's a warm and inviting design that flows effortlessly. I think sometimes us couch designers forget that you didn't go out and seek this project. You were invited and personally I think this 2-day transformation is amazingly beautiful. I love, love, LOVE everything about the design. I love the new leather chairs, the L-shape couch, the pillows, coffee table... I love how you pulled it all together with colors and textures and art... My favorite are the woven chairs with the black accent weave on the backs. Got to have 'em for my home! I think I have watched this video 10 times or more and each time I see something new, something new, something unexpected and always something beautiful. Awesome design, Studio McGee!! I never tire of your videos. What a beautiful 2- day transformation.
Loved this transformation. You can see that they really tried, with the choice of furniture but it just didn’t work for the space. Studio McGee to the rescue!
This a a great transformation! Before the furniture was confused - different styles and patterns that were not working together. Now it's cozy, fresh and clean with a beautiful flow. And you gave the client what they wanted. May I ask, what do clients do with all the old furniture??
our living room is just like this - it was very helpful to see that you placed a sectional and two small chairs to make the flow work best. Beautiful as always!
Comfort comfort comfort @ 4:19 but how did a TV chair with a 3 inch metal armrest still made the cut? @5:31 : ) Besides that, the place looks and feel fantastic and the colors are fabulous! L shape sofa is the way to go, right on. Overall awesome job !
Hello - loved this episode but I’m obsessed with Shea’s mustard yellow top! Please share where to buy! With all the beautiful neutrals Shea was just the right pop of color! It’s my favorite color of all time. Thanks!
I always manage to pick up a little piece of advice or inspiration from your videos. This time, it was the placement of the cabinet. It is a good example of how sometimes you have to break the design "rules" to get the best space.
I really like the colors you chose for the room. The original look wasn’t bad but feel missing something. The new design brought harmony into the space. It’s so clean, warm, and comfortable. Also, it’s easy to maintain (very important). Great job and I hope one day you can help me to design my new home.
All your work is so beautiful! It’s so elegant but so livable. You can style my home and I wouldn’t even ask you what your plan is. Here is the key to my home do whatever you like ☺️
Guys, you’re sooooo inspiring! Huge thank you for everything you do! You make this World more beautiful and comfortable ❤️🥰 can’t stop watching your videos and imaging my own home place 🥰
That turned out so beautiful!! I’m obsessed with Studio McGee, I literally love everything you do! Thank you for sharing your wonderful skills and giving us so much inspiration! 💜
All an improvement-loved everything except the previous art piece was much better than the four art pieces that missed the mark. And the deep blue cushions battling with the colour of the 2 leather chairs - I’m still cringing in pain. What were you thinking?
This may be an odd question but what did you do with the furniture that was already in the room? While they didn’t work together as a whole the client did have some good salvageable pieces there. I guess I’m wondering whether all the money spent on all those pieces is just going to be a waste? Btw I love how you did the walls - the 4 piece artwork and the other wall with glass cabinet and pictures :)
shea why do you not add brass or gold accent like ur usual style? because gold and brass is your character and it gives classic vibe to your project as always.. just my two cents.

I love it. It looks amazing. The art is beautiful. The furniture makes a lot more sense. The designers have the magic touch and think out of the box for the best floor plan and comfort. Beautifully done! Bravo!!
I love it! It would be so helpful if you could include a reference at the bottom of where you bought the pieces; i.e. Roman curtains for doors, glass cabinet behind you as you are talking; furniture. That would be the icing on the cake.
Very Nice transformation. Where did you get the (big white vase, and flowers) arrangement on the living room table and I couldn’t find the cabinet for the dining room on the site. Not sure if those are still available.
If you ever want to come to Queensland Australia you are welcome to stay with me and my mum😊 would love to have our place transformed into one of your masterpieces 👌
That’s a really beautiful home-I love all the french doors! Your design is amazing-a really bright transformation! Personally, I would never equate a bench at the dining table with comfort, so I’m happy to see that you gave them some really great chairs that are supportive but not rigid.
It looked pretty good before. The sectional is a big improvement. The new brown chairs look very uncomfortable. The original brown ones looked more comfortable.
Love it! Quick question: why did you place one of the back parts of the sectional against the french doors and not to the big wall? Just curious? Thanks!
I believe its because on the pther side where the wall is with the painting the view would be pbstuced bc of the tiny hallway that comes into the space. By the doors leading outside they are big so you can obstruct them but you could still use them
I have to ask....why didn't the old chairs work? I know that the metal wasn't black but you don't seem to mind mixed metals so why the change? Not questioning your decision just want to know so that as I'm redecorating in my house, I can make better choices on what works and what doesn't. If you were to keep the old chairs with the chrome, what would you have changed to make those work? Thanks for the education, I love learning from you and your team.
I have two gorgeous paintings by anna razumovskaya that just do not match a beach decor! But I am moving to a beach town and want to incorporate some coastal or beachy decor! Should I put the two Anna paintings side by side in say, the dining room, and nothing else, and then do my beach/coastal decor thing away from that room? The space is only 700 SF so not much choices! Living and dining are pretty much within each other's view. Or should I put the Anna paintings in the living room wall facing the front door and then not decorate walls with any beach decor and just do say, pillows and sculptures?
The before looks good the main problem truly was the dining and living areas where basically two different designs. It didn’t flow together with the open layout
It wasn’t horrible before, just needed some work. You guys did an awesome job as usual!
Agreed!!! Thanks so much!!
I know she just needed some new accessories and to change her dining room chairs
When you get money. It was not bad at all. Overall it's, nice
Me encanta Studio MC Gee.
I'm not even going to wait for the intro, just "liking" it right now.
Aw, you're sweet!!
Light & airy. I like the 4 big frames. A break from a huge print or mirror. Good job!
Thank you thank you!!!!
I especially liked the couch and chairs... And also how the navy blue touches tie everything together. So pretty!
you are truly an inspiration of the american dream...passion+hard work=amazing things! we're a family living in Italy with 3 young girls and are designing our new home your ideas are endless. thanks!

It was great before but now so much better. Its much calmer and the sightline from the kitchen is much more soothing.
You are so sweet, thank you!
I thought the before had a little too much pattern. The 'after' view had a beautiful flow. Unobstructed, simple, and classic.
Thanks Sharon!!
I love these two day transformations! Please keep them coming! -Bre
You got it :)
Looooved this. Sooo homey. Their home is beautiful but Studio McGee added that extra pazazz! Love it guys.

The BEST thing about this video? Shea’s eyes! 😍
Oh, you're too sweet.
The owner seems underwhelmed. I was more excited! Lolol. Looks really beautiful
I like the four large print gallery wall!
Those accent chairs before and after are soooo cute!
our living room is just like this - it was very helpful to see that you placed a sectional and two small chairs to make the flow work best. Beautiful as always!

Elegant and charming design. L💕VE it! I will use these hacks and your ideas for the my project during the planner5d school, ok?
I honestly preferred the before styling, more my style. Thanks for sharing.
We loved the before too! But it wasn't what our clients wanted. Thanks for watching!!
The before was nice but old fashioned in style & the family/tv area was impractical & the colours just too bland.
