Thanks for the video and the tips. I've switched to Broil KIng's nylon-bristle brush (instead of a wire-bristle brush) due to the increasing incidents of people ingesting small wire finers that can break off of grill cleaning brushes. Here's a link to the one I use: broilkingbbq.com/en_ca/accessories/extra-wide-nylon-brush/
@@WillsGrillShack My pleasure. Another thing I do is to vacuum the ash out and spray a small amount of food-grade silicon onto the ash shaker to prevent galling. It does a great job.
Top video Will, just gone and got myself one of these grills so good to know they last for a while without needing a deep clean! Next stop is to lookat some of your other videos for some ideas of what to cook!
Cheers Will thanks for the tips. I’ve had my broil king a few weeks now. Absolutely loving it and glad I went for that one. I’ve done at least 4 of your cooks and the JD ribs twice. Seared a couple of big 3 inch cowboy steaks from Costco turned out fantastic this thing grills and gets up to temperature as good as any gas or charcoal BBQ I’ve used. One question the cap on the chimney the instructions are very vague on settings I’ve just been leaving it half way and full for high heat stuff. I found I’ve got a few more pals since getting the smoker 😃
Glad you’re like it mate! Nice to hear. So a couple of the guys from Canada remove it and just have it open all the time but i like to have it 1/4 open for low and slow 1/2 open for 180c grilling and all the way open for searing. Hope that helps
Hi Will, good channel. Can I have some advice please. I am going to do a pork butt on a Broil king keg. Should I use the drip tray with liquid or just a heat deflector. I have seen both used. Thanks in advance, Dennis

Since making this I have also switched. Just a little bit safer
Thanks for watching. Hopefully this clears up a lot of questions I get asked

Another very useful post...thanks Will!
Thanks for watching mate
Hi Will, useful video for those of us that have just bought a Broil King. Should I cover the grease tray in foil to make it easier to keep clean?
Thank you, personally I have never bothered but it would make it easier to clean.
@@WillsGrillShack OK, thanks
Great video mate, keep em coming 🔥
Thanks you! Thanks for watching 🔥
Will, I just picked up a regal 400 and am starting with BK master blend pellets. Any other suggestions?
Apple pellets are fantastic with any pork!
Grill master blend are good for chicken and just grilling
@@WillsGrillShack Thanks Will! I enjoy your videos! Keep up the great work!
Great video! Awesome grills these
Thanks mate! Couldn’t agree more

Thanks for watching. I would just use the deflector and fill that with liquid like I did on the ribs I posted on here
I've seen a few people line the bottom with aluminum foil to protect the inside and reduce cleaning effort. The video showed me that I don't need to?
That’s correct, it does make clean up easier though
Does any1 get small fire in the ash bucket. Is this normal or is something wrong
How hot can your pellet grill go
350c depending on conditions
