fortunately I recorded this movie, with english subtitles, a few months ago here on YT. it's a very good movie .
@ROMANULdeVeghe mulțumesc! și trebuie să-ți spun că am fost motivat să văd acest film de o persoană care nici măcar nu e de naționalitate română... O să lucrez la subtitrări (am multe în proiect, dar foarte puțin timp liber....)
I liked the honest straight forward way the movie showed the upheaval of family and society when communism was enforced upon the people. Too bad there aren't more movies showing the human tragedy imposed by these thugs. There's countless films about the evils of Nazism but very few exposing the realities of communism. Thanks for uploading this, it's a keeper for sure.
@tunaspha da, precum spui, noi am avut de îndurat multe, de la mulți... dar nici dezbinarea dintre noi nu ne ajută. să ne felicităm, da, că am putut să rămânem români, dar să încetăm să mai promovăm non-valorile la noi acasă, să ne întoarcem la valorile strămoșilor noștri și să schimbăm percepția negativă despre neamul nostru a unora din Europa și de aiurea.

you're perfectly right! communism and nazism are the 2 faces of the same coin and they both made countless victims. unfortunately as you said the ordeal of communism is quickly forgotten. Romania suffered one of the most atrocious communist dictatorships in Europe but few movies so far dealt with the installation and perpetration of this plague. I also recommend 'Portrait of the Fighter as a Young Man' by Constantin Popescu.
