Thank you to the unknown man who prayed with me while my grandson was dying in the hospital and hugged me tight when he found out he died. Thank you to the construction worker who stopped working by the side of the road to take off his hat and pay his respects when our funeral procession passed by. Thank you to the doctors and nurses who cared for him while he was in the hospital and gave us so much compassion while we took him off life support. They will never know how much they touched my heart and how they were a little light in the sea of darkness. Heroes indeed.
Sorry for your loss but I'm sure your grandson is in a better place rest assure I may not know you or your family but just because we are strangers doesn't mean we don't all go through the same struggles may god bless you and your family and live in your Grandsons honor may god let you see them again when our time on earth is done.
Marine Corps Veteran and Truck Driver. We were worthless, then priceless, and now worthless again. Heros only when needed, hated when not. Song hits hard.
True America Patriots will always appreciate you all for the sacrifices you made. You all are loved and prayed for. Thank you for our freedom. We all owe you all so much. God bless 🇺🇲🥺
I'm sorry y'all are made to feel that way. It's so, so wrong. I know there are Americans like me out there that would never disparage our veterans. You are all heroes. even when you're old, bent over and can't remember the dogs name you are a hero. You were willing to fight for our freedoms and for that I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Everyday, everyday, thank you. God bless you and your family.
People take trucking for granted. You guys are literally the blood the courses through the veins of this country. Without you guys, we'd have empty shelves, unsupplied restaurants, useless online stores, etc. Never forget that! My ex GF does OTR and I can't thank her enough.
Fellow trucker here. I was on and off since 1994, in between having and raising 8 children. When my husband passed in 2013. I had to solo it the best I could. Thank you for your time and the miles brother. I'm still out here turning the wheels and paying the bills.
You make sure we have clean and sanitary places to be, unsanitary spaces can lead to a number of health issues and even diseases, you stop that from happening. I couldn't imagine how disgusting places would be without janitors. you're the reason why people stay healthy when they go to different environments outside of home, I'd call that a hero.
Thank you. My son is a janitor. He's legally blind, but he doesn't want to go on disability. He doesn't tell anyone, just does his job. He's respected, because he works hard, but being a janitor, isn't a glamorous job. He's my hero.
I'm a long haul trucker. I see public restrooms all the time. No one says anything when they're clean - but bitch to the moon if they aren't. I try to thank every janitor I see for doing a thankless job; surprising to see how it lifts their face and spirit! Thank your son for me. He's a hero, too..
Janitors are heroes to me. I definitely notice at my job when we don't have one or it's his day off. Public restrooms can get pretty disgusting, and I've cleaned quite a few myself in jobs where there wasn't a janitor. It's always so nice to be able to use the restroom without having to worry about brushing up against some mess on the door or the floor etc that should have been in the trash can or flushed down the toilet. Not to mention all the trash that has to be emptied every day, cleaning the breakroom, making sure there's not nasty old food in the fridge etc. Janitors make everyone's life so much more pleasant. God bless you and your son.
@@TexJester-no8th Thank you for all you do! The pandemic made a lot of us realize how we've been taking you all for granted. We depend on truckers for so many things that we literally can't survive without. You endure long hours and long stretches away from your families. And thank you for taking the time to appreciate janitors. They really do make things a lot better for the rest of us. And you're so right about how a little appreciation can brighten someone's day.
@@TexJester-no8th my Son works at a middle school, way dirtier than a public bathroom😊😊 he works for the Government, so he has perks, health insurance. I always want to thank Truckers, they have saved my life, been kind when I needed it, and made me feel safe on the roads. Much respect, for you.
Thank you, Tom. Janitor here, man, that line hit hard. I'm going to school to be an electrician while maintaining my family. My wife's an LVN. We both appreciate your song and music.
@@aquamansanchez8784 I believe it's called custodial arts. seriously jokes aside, thank you for your hard work. As someone who volunteered to clean the washrooms at a few different jobs due to thinking other employees wouldn't really get in and make it clean, I appreciate what you do daily, it's not always glorious yet always necessary.
I'm a fourth generation teacher. You can instantly tell a school with a good custodian from a school without one. I do my best to always let them know they are appreciated.
Thanks for doing what you do, Pastor. I am a PK myself and have experienced the sacrifices made to bring the Lord to the world. It can be absolutely brutal but its just as beautiful. God Bless You and Yours.
@@paulatouchton7822 you are right pray for harmed people and thank you Tom for changing this world with kindness and bravery keep the world nice and clean!
I am a nurse married to a Dessert Storm Marine VET. We need more people like you Tom. We both apreciate the thank you. You need the thanks for recognising that we are all needed to make life comfortable and great. THANKS to all my fellow Americans for all that you do!
Thank you, ma'am, for your service and your husband's service.A marine here dealing with the same stuff.Let him know that if he ever needs anything , i've got a six
This one hits home, my hubby retires in a couple weeks after 30 years as a carpenter, his body is wrecked, arthritis, back surgery, knee injections...the list goes on. He busted his ass for his family, he is our hero. Thank you for this tribute, they all deserve their flowers.
@@ezkhaos5116 Actually correct but slightly incorrect. Jesus was a Stone Mason by trade but by the carpentry he learned from Joseph growing up he did do some carpentry as well.
Thank you for seeing us. I’ve been a farmer most my life and a fire fighter for 14 years. I didn’t think I’d tear up today. Just thank you for your work and the support you give to us.
Cop, Sheriff, Firefighter, Medic and trucker here here...thank you. I catch hate all the time. Gave my whole life to service and got nothing in return but a small paycheck. But I did it all and would do it again. Peace.
Thank you Tom MacDonald for your music that puts things in to perspective. I am a delivery driver. Had to work through the pandemic when everything was shut down. We rolled on getting done. Everyday praying I didn't take the virus home to my family. On another side. I've had a gun pointed at me because a guy cut me off. I was able to go through a parking lot to get away from him. Didn't anticipate the guy would make the block and jump out his car yelling what ya gonna do now. People have no idea the risk we have to take everyday to deliver say 200 plus stops. I get it done with most days not getting a simple Thank You. Just alot of I got more furniture coming to my apartment on the fourth floor. All for purple promise.
Tom & Nova, I'm nearly 64 yrs. old and you songs brings tears of Hope and Joy and Traditional Pride! Keep up the fine work! No music has ever affected me like these words and rhythms!
Thank you 👏 Please go to the doctor and get checked out if you can. My dad drove truck for 20 years, and he died unexpectedly from a blood clot that traveled from his leg to his heart, and doctors think it was related to sitting for so long
I am a janitor. People often mock us for not being more. Sometimes it makes me sad that i'm considered a low citizen. But then i remember Lord Jesus Christ was born in a dirty place with animals, he was a mere carpenter, walked the earth as a poor and humble man. I wouldn't want it to be any different for myself. Thanks for your song man, it means a lot ♥
Anyone that look down on others are the one beneath the others. Maybe they have more money then you, but the fact that they look down on you prove that they are lower in the brain department. No good peoples look down on others, because anyone with a good brain know that any jobs no matter how useless it may seem at first glance is important in some shape or form, if it was not, those job would not exist in the first place, since no one would want to spend money for job that is of not use."
It's sad that these people hardly get represented or shown because they're not seen as cool or important, when in reality they're some of the coolest people on the planet.
Single homeschooling mama, janitor, housecleaner. I did whatever jobs I had to to feed and house my child. Kept my child from the toxic public school indoctrination. Thank you Tom MacDonald.
I also raised 5 kids from age 3 to 16 on my own for over a decade. I, too, did whatever I had to to feed and raise my kiddos. I was in the nursing field, a correctional officer, did retail and work at gas stations..ect. we as parents have to do whatever it takes . All my kids are grown now except 1 . I couldnt be more proud of them and what they have accomplished . Here's to all the Heroes that do the grind everyday. I appreciate Y'all. ❤❤
I’m a homeschool mom, raising strong warriors for Christ. My husband is a combo guy in a union- heavy highway labor. Breaking his body for us. Thank you!
I was a SAHM, too, although I didn't homeschool. My husband busted his buns so that our children didn't have to be raised by strangers. It was a blessing for us all and I'm so grateful he was willing to sacrifice so that I could have the best job in the world. Tom McDonald is a treasure and I'm grateful to him for giving people like my husband a voice they don't usually have.
@@minecraftfox4384Fairy tales? That's rich. You live your life on a minecraft server ffs, talking to fake friends you'll never see in real life. I’m a courier and I deliver all of your Amazon and Wal mart stuff all day every day, but what I also deliver is medication for cancer patients, most of the medication is dependent on me making that delivery, I have a story of one customer that I delivered his medication on a monthly basis and him and his wife would be so grateful when they saw my truck coming up the driveway…until recently I was told to not bother because his condition got worse and they were in the process of getting him ready for his last days, his wife was so grateful she gave myself and other drivers that delivered for them homemade jam as a thank you, this song makes me think of how I helped him and also my other customers with their medication especially now one of my regulars for medication is own father whom is my hero because he is a truck driver delivering milk for 46 years, thank you Tom for giving love to the people that keep this world running.
don't forget about the sort, you are the end route, but it takes all the grunts to get that last bit to the customer. I've done both sides, the driver gets all the credit and "thank you"s but there is an army of grunts behind it.
My mom used to drive the school bus for the handicapped and special education students in the county school. I used to ride her bus to school if I wanted to sleep late, because the high school I attended was right across from the Middle School where the handicapped and special education students had their own school, a separate building from the Middle School, but on the same campus. She’d drop her students off at their school on the Middle School campus, and then take me across the road and let me off at the High School. I remember being picked on by some of my school mates hanging around outside the High School before the bell rang to head to your home room class. They were just joking around, of course, not trying to be mean, but still saying something about me riding the “short bus”. That was almost 40 years ago, and I still remember those children on mom’s bus, and how sweet and loving they were. One girl was in a wheelchair, and couldn’t speak, but she could understand everything you said to her. Her parents dressed her so pretty every day, and she would just grin from ear to ear when you told her how pretty she was. She had been left handicapped because of a school bus accident when she was younger, I believe. I remember one girl who was so funny because she called everyone “fart head”, and she would laugh so hard. That was my mom’s favorite bus route. She later took a bus route driving for the students in the Elementary, Middle, and High Schools, because I think the special needs school on the Middle School campus was torn down, and and those students were relocated. It was a long time ago, and my memory isn’t as sharp as it once was. But I am thankful that I got to spend some time with those students, because they made a lasting impression on me, and I have a special affection towards people like them, because they are precious. It’s why I believe that all human life has tremendous value, and it should not matter if a babe in the womb has what this world calls a “defect” when it comes to them being “worthy” of life. All human life is important to God, made in His image, and that alone makes every human life “worthy” of being born. It’s not for us to decide which human life has value, and which doesn’t, and to even think that we should have that power to decide the value of another human life, or when it should end, is man trying to usurp God’s authority, and it’s wrong.
Thank you for the shout out! I work on an ambulance. And on behalf of all of us YOU ARE WELCOME 💖And thank you to everyone out there that puts one foot in front of the other every day and keeps it pushin 💖
Forklift operator at the fourth largest lumber yard in the country. I'm supplying the material to build houses, apartments, and other buildings. I get to see the fruits of my labor all over and it makes me proud. Thanks for the recognition Tom. Keep up the good work and God bless.
I seriously teared up. As a custodian/janitor, I appreciate this video more than you'll ever know. I'm working so I can afford to go to school to be a doctor.
Don't waste your money, all medical schools are taught under Rothschilds, they are trained to treat not cure. Dr s are committing suicide over owing money for worthless degrees. Go holistic knowledge, learn to heal.
Thank you Tom 🙏I'm a retired Police Detective (and US Military War Veteran) and am 100% disabled from an on-duty incident. My sudden disability left me unable to work and support my wife and 5 of 7 kids who still live at home...I loved my job and it was hard going from healthy 50 year old to being bed ridden and wracked with pain 24/7...I'm not Complaining...God is great...I'm still here able to be a husband to my wife, father to my 7 children and now...A Granddather to 4 perfect grandchildren! May God continue to bless you, Nova and all of your loved ones. ~Retired Cop and #HOG for life!!
Thank you, sir, for serving both our great country and your community. My father was a cop. And because of him I have mad respect for LEO’s all around our country. And for our military ( he was in the Navy and Army - in the Army he was in Korean War) . What goes on around our country with the leftists crapping on LEO’s makes me so disgusted.
Been a hard working blue collared worker since 1998 my body is shot but get up every morning put in my 10 to 12 hours. Also I'm a volunteer firefighter/EMS and spend countless hours training and responding all hours of the night and go to work with no sleep. Thank you for recognition we all appreciate it.
Thank you to those who do the nitty and gritty, and to those who do the smallest jobs. You don't ever get represented, shown, or celebrated in the ways that you deserve.
My dad's been a truck driver for almost 30 years. He sacrificed spending time at home to make sure we had a home to be thankful for. Thank you to all the people who keep this world running
Same With My Dad But Got Divorced When i was 8 and life was hard for my mother without a supporter try many dudes (step dads) but they are even worse make her pregnant again got a sister now am 26 and wanna move out but i have no friends job girlfriend always thought about suicide but cant do it cuz i love myself but i hate my life but i dont wanna live like this anymore please pray for me😢
@user-ic4hq8kn4x Absolutely, I'll pray for you. You're stronger than you think, or else you wouldn't be here right now. There's a reason you're still here, so you gotta be the next generation of hero and keep fighting. You're not alone. You do matter. ✊️🙌🏻
I spent 3 years delivering medication to hospice patients and nursing home patients. I showed up to people’s homes with a smile and a kind voice, because that is all I could offer. I had multiple families thank me for my actions. I was told in those dark days seeing someone like me arrive with a smile and a story or two showed respect and kindness. I changed jobs and still remember those folks.
My husband is too! Some people have no clue the dedication is takes to do that job. Many hours away from home, many celebrations missed, etc...Thanks for keeping America going!
I’m a US Army Vietnam vet and a retired 25 year police detective. I was injured on the job and now I’m 100% disabled. Live alone. I must use a walker. I can’t drive. But I’m NOT BITCHING. It is what it is and I’m proud to have just served. Thank you so very very much Tom. God bless you. 🙏🏻
I don't think people truly understand how much you all do. My fiance is also a welder and has custom stuff all over the Chicagoland area, used to do tradeshow exhibits that were remarkable only to become landfill memories. The company he's with signed NDAs when they were building the bud light packman commercial that aired only a handful of times but was specifically for the superbowel some years back. If no one thanks you today, thank you from me to you HOG! ❤
@ItsLaurenE tell your fiance he's a member of a dying breed of people. We need more people to come into these trades. Nobody seems to want to do these jobs anymore. And thank you for supporting him and the rest of us.
@@dirtyjersey6774 absolutely, I'm always blown away with what he does. Coming home with semi new work tees already got welder holes. Love the shout to the welders... welder here, father of 3 girls and my wife is a stay at home mom. The struggle is real, the hours can be long... thanks for the shout out!😊
Giving a 3 minute and 34 second moment of appreciation to the people that make our communities function, safe, and moving forward. Thank you Tom MacDonald!
THANK YOU, TOM!!! YOU ARE MY HERO!! You really are! My father was/is my hero too... held many roles, including SWAT, undercover narcotics, homicide detective, hostage negotiator, Chief of Police, and even did work for 2 U.S. Presidents. A TRUE unsung hero! One grandfather was also a police officer, one grandfather was in the army WWII. My direct great grandfathers (to the Nth generation) include 3 major founding fathers (John Adams, John Quincy Adams, and William Floyd). They are ALL my heroes... But YOU ARE MY HERO FOR ALL YOU DO AND SAY AND HAVE BEEN DOING! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Your video and song brought me to tears. ♥🤍💙
1993...fell off the side of a cliff outside Estacada Oregon. Paramedics came and took me to the Life Flight Helicopter in Estacada Oregon where I was flown to OHSU in Portland. I was 19 years old. I am turning 51 soon and it never would have happened without heroes in this world. Like you Tom: I say a prayer every time I see medics and fire trucks racing to the rescue. Thank you for this song.
1988 I fell off a roof in Lake Oswego. Life flighted to the same hospital. My brother was life flighted there as well after an accident. Love all these heroes.
Going on 18 years as of July 31st, trying to keep Chicago safe. From one officer to another, thank you. And thank you Tom MacDonald for your songs! I found peace and truth in your songs back in 2020 during the riots. You helped bring me out of a dark place.
Thank you for being there that night when we needed you the most. Bad things always happen near end of shift bit you acted fresh as a first day rookie and brought peace and order back to our little world.
Thank you to my pastor who went home to Heaven a couple of days ago... he took me into the praise band when i was 13 and helped me blossom musically for 6 years... He was a wonderful man who loved his church and his family and friends... say hi to the Lord for me, Pastor Rod, im going to miss you. I hope youre smiling down on us from above! And i hope to find a church that i can sing loud and praise God in, make both you and Him proud ❤
Trucker here and son of a farmer and teacher. Thankyou Tom. We feel underappreciated everyday. I've listened to all your songs, and this is my favorite one so far. You're our voice.
This song made me weep. There is no longer pride and glory for the hard working blue collar backbone of this country. There is a young family next door to me, the father is a fabricator and part time mechanic. He works his ass off so his wife can stay home and raise their 3 boys. It gives me so much pride to see young people commit to good values and strong families, because we, families are under attack at ever turn. God bless every hard working red blooded American that reads this. My wife and I with our 6 boys pray for you every morning.
Thank you Tom your voice reaches out to us all ❤ I watched my dad support my sister and I work full time 8 to 5 mon - fri to put us through school, he barely had time to do things or spend time with us and my mom but he was a hard working man... he is my hero and finally retired last year. Any person who supports their family working long hours, even those who dont have a family, those working long hours struggling right now to live, you all are HEROS in my eyes. All the ones who build our roads, fix our power lines, work in nursing homes, etc all of you are heros! ❤
You are appericated and needed and loved! My husband is a trucker! You guys do a selfless job and deserve all the praises and acknowledgement! Keep truckin, sir! ❤
I’m a wounded veteran and my wife is active duty. Thank you for recognizing all the heroes out there who get little to no respect 🫡 Thank you for recognizing all our heroes at home who make our lives worth living. I think we all have those people in our lives. God Bless you all.
My husband has painted at least 50 of the fire escapes in downtown Portland, Oregon, and paints many apartment buildings, as well as apartment units. He does all of it solo because we can't find anyone who wants to work. He is 57 yrs old and busting his ass just to take care of our family! Thank you again for drawing attention to the people who are VITAL to keeping this country moving!❤❤❤
I am also a painter and know the struggle of not being able find someone to work with same passion and care as myself so I take care of my customers alone! Much love and support to your husband and he is not alone. There are others out here like him, like me, heroes!
It's songs like this that puts Tom on top every single time he drops. It's people, like the commenters here, that are keeping America Great and will get us through these rough times.
3rd generation veteran here who works 12-16hr shifts 6 days a week to provide a good life for my wife and kids. We’re the faceless and nameless masses who make this country great, not the politicians on TV or Botox celebrities on TikTok/Instagram. We sacrifice so much as we love our families and our country. We faceless and nameless masses, Thank You Tom MacDonald for loving us back. ❤
Thanks for your service mister. I don’t like rap/hip hop but this is a good song because it has a good message people actually relate to. More of this kind of message is what we need.
I'm a retired nurse and both of my grandson s are firefighters, EMTs and ones also a paramedic. When he's not at the fire house he's on an ambulance This song brought tears to my eyes. Everyday, working people are truly this country's heros. Thank you Tom McDonald for this song.
Extremely timely. Here in Texas, we're seeing this first hand. The linemen and clean up crews working long hours, in Texas heat, to get the power back on line. They've left their families behind to help other families in need right now. ❤❤❤
Proud to say, this song and video brought tears to my eyes.58 year old vet, I remember when this was the country we lived in. When our country and especially our politicians and even the media felt this way about our country. I pray that this video goes viral and changes the lives of those that watch it. Thank you.
Thank you, Tom! Truckers wife here. Every day my husband spends away from his family is very difficult for us all. Seeing him get recognition for the long hours, all the danger he faces from bad drivers to protesters, days to weeks away from his family makes me feel so happy that he is seen! Thank you for this! And to everyone else, KEEP DOING WHAT YOU DO! WE KNOW WHO REALLY KEEPS THIS COUNTRY RUNNING!❤️🙌🏻
I'm not a trucker but I drive commercially. It's crazy to see how many people do dumb things to truck drivers. It's almost like they don't understand that if the guy behind the semi isn't paying 100% attention and you merge your car 3ft in front of them, you're dead. Not the trucker, you! xD Like people drive around semis like maniacs with zero concern and it's just crazy to me.
@NM-qd3tm My husband is a trucker, and he says the same thing. It makes him so frustrated when people cut him off as if he can stop his semi truck on a dime 🤦♀️.
HVAC Installer here. Working long hours under houses and out in this 100 degree heat daily getting people cooling. It's rewarding. A smile on a face and a handshake keeps me going. I love this. But you never hear tradesmen talked about as heroes or really glamorized. We're just the grunts that make the world work. We don't get headline news spots like million dollar athletes arguing over how many millions they get that year. Thank Tom. It's a good song. Telling the daily people working hard that they're a hero helps. Sometimes we feel like dirt.
I had some solar installed years ago and as part of "the package" had some insulation installed in my attic. When I saw those guys putting on the head to toe suits and going into the already quite hot attic, I knew that even the home improvement and prior tech/installer type of work I did in the past paled in comparison to being covered like they were. I offered them ice cold Gatorades and had the a/c cranked up for 'em. So many of our population work these "behind the scenes" "cog of the machine" types of jobs (of various sorts) and it's wild to think about just how many moving parts there are to keeping society functioning how it needs to. From HVAC, electricians, and plumbers, to the engineers keeping vital networks and processing systems running around the country (and world), the honest, hard working folks are heroes. I've been in the attic and crawlspaces and certainly thank you and that industry for making our lives much more comfortable, especially in the deep south of South Carolina!! lol
Thank you to the combat soldier who went into war before me. Thank you to the cop who stopped robber from robbing me one night 20 years ago at 3am in Kansas. Thank you to the sanitation worker who comes every Wednesday and gives me a brand new start to my week. Thank you to all the neighbors and people that take a stand against tyranny.
Ik I haven't lived a long life. But it's you Tom who helped me get away from the drugs and stealing. You have helped me when no one would. Honestly from the bottom of my heart to you man. Than you for doin what alot of people don't do no more and standing for something. H.O.G is my family. You have inspired me to be better than who I was when I thought I was too far gone. I was able to join the marines bc of how you helped me. You helped me get back to the lord. Keep being strong brother. Continue standing strong and standing proud.
Also wanted to say Thank you with all my heart to the NICU doctors and nurses who kept my son alive when he was in the unit. He just turned 26 and I thank you all for every day I have him in my life!
Wow, this was powerful Tom. I'm a grocery store clerk, we are over worked and underpaid. It's a tough job at times, but nowhere near as hard as other manual labor jobs. Thank you for representing me and everyone else in this song. You have my undying respect.
You pretty much said what I came to say!! I'm a grocery clerk as well. There are very few customers that remind me why I choose to stay in the job. The rest of the customers really take it out of me... Thanks Tom for mentioning us!! ❤❤❤
What makes it worse when ppl take it out on us cos they can’t afford food because of the why life is atm they don’t understand we’re only there so we can afford food for our families
I wanted to say thank you for this song, Mr. Macdonald. I was in a near fatal car accident back in 2015 & a firefighter EMT saved me & pulled me the sunroof. Then handed me off to the medical EMTs & I was in a coma for a month. Doctors, nurses & certified nurse assistants care for me & kept me alive. Also had a cop help escorted the EMTs to a different hospital. I will always support the first responders, I am still alive & safe because of them. Thank you, to the first responders out there & to the fire fighter who got to me just in time.
Yes indeed, we’ve become so mean & angry that we forget how to be kind and show appreciation, I’m trying to do better to treat everyone with kindness and respect, Tom could just sing the phone book and he’d still would be#1 in my opinion
This song means a lot personally, I was a truck driver until breaking Mt back while on the job in 2019., Still fighting to get disability. Thank you for the recognition, we the unknown appreciate it more than you'll ever know!
Getting disability is a bitch, from what I have been told by my friend who is a doctor, I understand that they can't give it to everyone but it's ridiculous especially when government sends money to foreign countries, yet disabled suffer
As a welder/fabricator building dump trucks, snow plows, and flat beds I appreciate the recognition for the people the get up everyday to go to a job they hate to support their families and keep the world moving.

Thank you to the doctors and nurses who cared for him while he was in the hospital and gave us so much compassion while we took him off life support. They will never know how much they touched my heart and how they were a little light in the sea of darkness. Heroes indeed.

I cried when I heard this. Because you are the only 1 who recognize us janitorial people.... thank you..
I cried too, but for a different reason. Thank you for all you do!! 💜
You’re not a janitor you’re a sanitation and maintenance worker making sure our facilities are clean and working you’re a hero ❤️
Thank you for Your service

I'm a school bus driver for special needs ❤ I'm truly blessed to be a part of these children's lives❤❤
@@dianejiminez1229 HERO🙏
I commend you for all you do for those children. YOU make a difference.
Bless you 🙏❤

God bless every hard working red blooded American that reads this. My wife and I with our 6 boys pray for you every morning.
Thank you Tom from a paramedic who has enjoyed so much of your music. It is an honor to serve my community. May God continue to bless you.
Thank you for your service
Thank you Tom your voice reaches out to us all ❤ I watched my dad support my sister and I work full time 8 to 5 mon - fri to put us through school, he barely had time to do things or spend time with us and my mom but he was a hard working man... he is my hero and finally retired last year. Any person who supports their family working long hours, even those who dont have a family, those working long hours struggling right now to live, you all are HEROS in my eyes. All the ones who build our roads, fix our power lines, work in nursing homes, etc all of you are heros! ❤
I'm a pipeline welder and use to be an electrician. Thank you for the song Tom. Not to many songs about just your everyday people.
Everyday people are the real hero’s
As a truck driver, I can not begin to describe how accurate the feeling of unappreciation is. You're a real one Tom.
You are appericated and needed and loved! My husband is a trucker! You guys do a selfless job and deserve all the praises and acknowledgement! Keep truckin, sir! ❤
I see you heroes on the road and truly appreciate everything you do to help keep our Country moving.
Thank you for all that you do! ❤
I’m a wounded veteran and my wife is active duty. Thank you for recognizing all the heroes out there who get little to no respect 🫡 Thank you for recognizing all our heroes at home who make our lives worth living. I think we all have those people in our lives. God Bless you all.
Thank both of you for your service and sacrifice. It's patriotic warriors like you that allow the rest of us to do what we do. God Speed 🇺🇲🇺🇲🫡🇺🇲🇺🇲

Hollywood would never do something like this. Thank God for giving us Tom.
This is a real hero.
Hardworking man, killing himself daily to take care of his family.
I am also a painter and know the struggle of not being able find someone to work with same passion and care as myself so I take care of my customers alone! Much love and support to your husband and he is not alone. There are others out here like him, like me, heroes!
God bless him and your family
Portlander here, thank you for your contribution to restoring our city!
I'm an artist. I just sketch, and that's hard enough. I don't wanna know how hard it is to paint. 😬 Tell him he and his work are much appreciated.
It's songs like this that puts Tom on top every single time he drops. It's people, like the commenters here, that are keeping America Great and will get us through these rough times.
Hey Tom! I'm a janitor at a daycare and elementary school. Thank you!
I am a retired nurse.
Thank you for this Tom!
You are the people’s voice! ❤️🔥
Truck driver here, Thank You, blessings to you, Tom and Nova, also your family especially your parents.
Thank you so much, I was a lunch room worker, and a housekeeper for most of my career. It's nice to hear thank you you make a difference.
Hero 🪖😊
Thanks for your service mister. I don’t like rap/hip hop but this is a good song because it has a good message people actually relate to. More of this kind of message is what we need.
🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸
thank you for your service
Thank you kindly for protecting us and our country ❤
Registered nurse here, who actually loves nursing and enjoys taking care of patients. Thank you for remembering us. ❤
Thank you for your service :)
My wife too! Now she delivers babies....❤❤❤ thanks for your service!
GOD BLESS YOU Mr. MacDonald! I’m a Steel Worker from Indiana and this song brought tears to my eyes! Thank You
Thank you Sir without you we could not build the world .Much love from Kentucky 🙏🏻🫡🇺🇸😘
Hvac guy in stl. Same here. 👍🏽
I'm a retired nurse and both of my grandson s are firefighters, EMTs and ones also a paramedic. When he's not at the fire house he's on an ambulance This song brought tears to my eyes. Everyday, working people are truly this country's heros. Thank you Tom McDonald for this song.
Thanks for acknowledging the everyday working man and woman. We the PEOPLE!!
31 year old contractor here, tired and sore everyday, and yet I'd rather be sober and stable with this life than anything else.
Trucker here. Thank you for showing some love 🫡
Truck driver.
The most overlooked HERO'S in America.
You guys and gals are BOSS level heroes.
@@JRotten👍🚛😊
Pipefitter/ plumber here. Thanks for the recognition. People forget how important the average joes are.
As a carpenter for 30 years, thank you Tom.
Extremely timely. Here in Texas, we're seeing this first hand. The linemen and clean up crews working long hours, in Texas heat, to get the power back on line. They've left their families behind to help other families in need right now. ❤❤❤
My dads an engineer. My mom is a mother.
This video brought me to the brink of tears. God Bless Yall.
❤❤❤
Well you’re a hero now ❤
Keep it up kid!!!!
Wow…. What a message!!!! Tom, you have a God Given Gift!!! Give Him ALL the Glory!!!!
I'm a grocery clerk and I absolutely love my job. Thanks Tom for caring about all of us
Also wanted to say Thank you with all my heart to the NICU doctors and nurses who kept my son alive when he was in the unit. He just turned 26 and I thank you all for every day I have him in my life!
Trucker here thank u tom.... amazing as always...everyone hates on truckers... ❤
This made me cry. Thank you for speaking the truth. You're a good man, Tom.
Appreciate you showing love to the everyday people.
Yes indeed, we’ve become so mean & angry that we forget how to be kind and show appreciation, I’m trying to do better to treat everyone with kindness and respect, Tom could just sing the phone book and he’d still would be#1 in my opinion
@@valeriew5934 agreed. We have too much hatred for each that we forget that we are all humans.
This song means a lot personally, I was a truck driver until breaking Mt back while on the job in 2019., Still fighting to get disability. Thank you for the recognition, we the unknown appreciate it more than you'll ever know!
I appreciate you. From South Florida ⛱️

Thank you, Tom. Genuinely. In a world that is blasting pain and hate on the TV 24/7, we need more of you. Don't ever change. We love you!

This gave me goosebumps. The line "doing jobs that would damage your ego", so true. Awesome song.
