I actually feel like dragonsbreath might be pretty useful for less skilled players but for somebody like hornet it actually just makes the fights drag out longer. Which is fun to watch at least!
Dragonsbreath also provides lots of options, you can set hunters on fire, bob barrels, kill ai fast, burn downed hunters oh and it bllinds to some degree enemy hunters. Just go on the shooting range with a buddy and let him shoot you in the face with dragonsbreath, you will see what i mean ^^. In my opion dragonsbreath is rather strong, I can only recommend to try it out.
@@Moonhunter92 yea I’m not arguing that. For most people it is strong. I’m just saying guys like hornet are so good that he was shooting guys with dragonsbreath when he could have just shot them in the head with any pistol. It just felt like extra steps
I really think that dragonbreath could be a great addition for the rival. Great for two taps but limited by ammo count and worse spread. Either that or the slate for the same reasons but I like the idea of the rival better
@@Roberta-yf4ge Special ammo should be a way to give weapons their own little niches they can fit into, not something they just slap on every weapon. Springfield for example felt like it finally found a place in the game when they added dumdum to it, then they gave it to centennial and springfield got pushed back into irrelevancy.
@@blooperman1997 The springfield dumdum is still totally a relevant weapon even with centennial dumdum, it still lets you take normal medium ammo rounds as a second option to pierce walls as well as finish off targets you've forced into cover with the dumdum round you couldn't otherwise from a distance and it's drastically cheaper. Centennial beforehand also had nothing going for it in most people's eyes besides being a medium ammo version of the basic winfield, the trauma wasn't that much more popular than the base variant as it didn't offer the same kind of hitbox profile as a bayonet or the same bosskilling capability of a talon and the sniper variant was a meme that was only taken by some really weird dudes who swore by it despite it being a terrible sniper weapon due to having no HV rounds (until this very update.) The Centennial getting dumdum was something that kinda needed to happen and it's been a boon for people who fancied the rifle beforehand such as myself, as well as for the popularity of the weapon in general, and I still find value out of running the springfield from time to time as well as have my friends. There's also clearly still people running it, we've run into many people since Centennial got dumdum that were running the classic springfield dumdum + normal ammo as their primary, and it also still has one of the best hipfire accuracies available in the game. You're not going to make it irrelevant that easily is what I'm saying, maybe if they add dumdum rounds to the Berthier or Krag or something crazy like that it will become irrelevant.

Even back before the addition of special ammo, the only reason to take it was that it was cheap. That was a viable reason when money was harder to come by. Budget loadouts are dead outside of just memeing. There is ZERO reason to ever take a springfield.

It's definitely a lot stronger this patch, feels like you're much more likely to actually light someone now. Before it basically wouldn't ever light someone more than 5 meters away

Love your content. Love underrepresented ammo types and weapons. However, any time you tell me something is amazing and then the loadout has a Dolch P for multiple games my hope dies a little.
Mosin obrez or uppercut would be equally good options for a secondary, especially since they both deal over 125 dmg. Just burn off at least one health bar with dragons breath and boom you have a one tap body secondary.
I love it. Running Dragonsbreath on the Terminus with Levering is one of the most fun builds in the game imo It's even easier to play now that every free Hunter comes with Levering lol
@@looka698I think Specter is better because it does a little more damage and has a bit better accuracy with dragonsbreath. I would honestly still run Terminus even though that’s the case but that issue with the levering where you’re stuck in place gets annoying and can cause your death.

I tried this after watching this vid and holy fuck! Did Dragon Breath get buffed in this update????? cuz I was steam rolling ppl with the Specter and dragons breath
Hmm I don't think so. But the ability to burn downed hunters without using any tools/consumables isn't necessarily just for after the fights. When you do it to enemies teammate, it puts great pressure on them and puts them on the clock.

How is it insane "now". I looked the patchnotes and found nothing besides that it can now burn downed hunters, but you can do that with a flair pistol or a fusee, not sure if its worth the ammo. Other then that I found nothing that would make it "insane now". Typical clickbait BS title as usual.
depending on the fight youre in and your team size you dont have to waste any time burning someone swapping from your primary weapon to put up the preassure by burning ,its hard to see that a little thing like that can make a huge difference for many people who dont see it ;)
Got a real nice double using dragonbreath on a terminus handcannon Accidentally detonated a red barrel an enemy was sprinting past, and cleaned up his friend when he ran out the door to engage me.

Tbh since all shotguns have slugs I don't se why all of them can't have dragons breath and flechets
I think if Slate gains db and/or flechette it would infringe on Spectre's niche too much.

Been loving dragons breath and even flechette. It's a great ammo type for a solo, especially.
Flechette is real nice, being able to cause bleeding on someone from so far away is an invaluable tool.
It's great with a team too, if you have a friend sniping they'll probably 1 tap them

Its a great backup for dragons breath , you cant go the entire match never firing a round from your secondary and expect to get the best DB value
