  • EDUCATIONAL ONLY---Ok ya spend $3100 in total $2000 in a full build package. Then wait six months and receive a great looking gun but a functionally flawed gun. Here's why it functions poorly to put it gently and how it will compromise the safety and reliability moving forward. Guy CHECK you gear often and if your getting a fancy build follow this video upon receiving it.

    At the end of the day I believe you communicate one thing very directly in your videos. That one thing is that you have way more understanding of GLOCK pistols than viewers will ever have. The implicit message is just send it to Johnny Glocks. Nice job and I am not being critical.

    I just installed your combat drop in 43x trigger with all the additional goodies after watching your video 5 times so I didn’t screw anything up. It cost me a fortune, I thought (more than I paid for the blue box) UNTil I pulled that trigger! Goog Gawd!! Like butter. A big ole wide flat trigger that didn’t gauge my finger tip, smooth take up, perfect break, great reset… did exactly what I wanted…took the bounce out of my red dot! Leupold Delta Pro Micro to keep it skinny
    Well done!

    Stunning. This company will never get my money. For $2000 I can shoot several thousand rounds thru the gun and it will shoot much better than all the hammer and hatchet work done on this. Learned a ton. Thanks for sharing.

    Thank you for making this information available to us. You’re doing a huge service to those of us who buy these guns. If I spend that much money on something I expect it to be amazing and to work when I need it. Especially, like you said, when i may need it to protect my life. Again, thank you for these videos. You could be sitting back just using your knowledge for your trade and keeping it to yourself. Instead you provide it to us. You’re a great teacher and this is a huge public service.

    I hope Agency Arms contacts that customer and get things right. Used parts for 2100+ dollars. And not only that, the safety issue with all the things wrong on the trigger assembly... That's def a liability issue. Wow!

    I did buy a carry magwell from Agency and I'm happy with the fit and overall appearance. However, that will probably be my last purchase from them. To think they would put a guy out on the street with defects in a gun that can potentially get you killed is unacceptable on any level.

    I bought an agency drop in trigger and it caused all kinds of issues in my Glock. Trigger wouldn’t reset, I only put 50 rounds through it and it broke my firing pin, caused a ridiculous about of wear. Spaftey plunger is jacked up. Messed up the metal infront of the safety plunger. I also had to bend the connect an ungodly amount just to get my Glock to fire. I had zero confidence in agency arms after watching this video. I realized how unsafe my gun was with this drop in trigger from Agency arms, thanks to Jonny Glock and this video. You educated me now I have all oem parts in and everything functions perfectly. Jonny thank you for these awesome videos keep up the good work.

      After I watched this video I literally went back home and sold everything I have from agency. I don't Want nothing to do with that company. How do you have the audacity to charge a person 2 to $3000 to and send back a piece of shit. That explains why every once in a while I see one on arms list.
      You would figure after spending that amount of money on a gun the last thing you would do is sell it. I read an article yesterday that said all their parts are from Lone Wolf. They aren't Even original glock parts. SMH...

    When I do my 25 cent trigger job I just polish parts not changing any fcg contact area’s geometry, just only removing any burrs on the stamped steel edges. Like on a sharp edge on a connectors that will make wear cuts over time into the trigger bar interface like you showed on those high rd count parts.

    Looks like Agency Arms puts big money in hiring very talented designers and machinists for slide milling and overall looks...but skimp where it counts under the hood with their actual Glocksmiths and then add on a $2K plus up-charge on a $600 Glock that functionally worked much better before they touched it.

    You may also want to change the firing pin channel lining inside the slide that could be the reason for the marks on the firing pin lug may be a bit worn and could be causing a wobble of the firing pin thus making those marks by being too loose or out of tolerance which may have been caused by the safety pin being hit continuously by the firing pin, it’s a cheap part but might as well change it for the sake of doubt! I like your videos and your attention to detail very instructive and always learn something new every time, good work! 🔫

      @rippin lipshonestly I just left the stock one in. The people at Ghost seemed to believe that was the problem though. They said sometimes a connector might stay in the polisher too long, which will make the thickness too thin.

    Here we see just one more example of folks falling for "high tech" mods from "name brand gun builder". Several locals have fallen for this ruse and lost large amounts of money--winding up with a product which doesn't work as advertised. Most of them spent more than an additional thousand dollars to get the gun to work.

    • @johnnyglocks
      @johnnyglocks  6 років тому +1

      It had a striker to seer engagement issue that with the compromised parts would have easily caused an NA had it been dropped on say concrete. Also the perpendicular bars of the cruciform were barely hanging on the drop shelf. As far a reliability that was a major compromise in this case.

  • @Magneticitist
    @Magneticitist 2 роки тому

    Man the Agency trigger I got for a G19 needed way too much work. I was able to use the helpful tips for removing the shoe though.. put it on the OEM trigger bar and it worked pretty good. Still had to make sure one of the roll pins was not hammered all the way back in cause it's like they put a taper on it or some shit.. Hammering back to where it was didn't allow free movement of the shoe and it caused poor resets. The bar that came with the trigger had rounding on the edge that needed to meet the connector lip that guides the cruciform downward. It was so rounded it would just pop out sideways before dropping the sear.. grinding the roundness flat fixed it but then that overly aggressive bend on the part that rides the striker safety plunger was too annoying.

    I'll mention the name. Agency Arms. I would expect a lot better from them. So, I'm suspicious that the owner has his fingerprints all over this mess. Otherwise, why didn't he send it back to them, first? But, in general, stay away from these so-called custom shops, except for the stupid "custom" slide cuts, which everyone and their grandmother now has. Don't buy into their package deals for the internals. Just go to Johnny in the fist place. When it comes to triggers IMO, there are only two companies who are the "Academy Award Winners" and really know what they're doing: Apex for S&W and Johnny Glocks for your Glock. And, special award to Cajun Gun Works for CZ. And, for truly custom (make it your own) slide cuts (if you must have them), NC Engravers.
