In times of the click-bait epidemic and the constant simplification of complex processes in the mass media in order to make them suitable for the masses, this form of reporting seems like a beacon project of old-school quality journalism. As a German, I find the typically British, factual and calm nature of the reports extremely pleasant.
The fates of the people who are fighting in this war are shown. In a depressing way, it is made clear that it is not just about statistics. Every normal person with empathy is inevitably touched by the commitment and desire for freedom of these Ukrainian soldiers, even if their situation is anything but optimal.
It is a shame that the West, especially us Europeans, have not managed in 3 years to supply the Ukrainians with what they need in large quantities, what they need to defend freedom and democracy and to send a signal to the tyrants and autocrats of this world that we are accepting the challenge and fighting back together.

It broke my heart to hear that warrior say, "victory will be ours. One hundred percent.". I believe he believes that. I hope he is correct. When I look at this war from 30,000ft, it becomes difficult to believe Ukraine can win and drive Russia back to pre-invasion conditions. The average Ukraine warfighter is 43. That is a problem. These things are very ominous but they also do not guarantee Ukraine will lose this war. There is always something to be said and considered about a people fighting to protect their homes, their people, land and families. I don't believe you can find a higher motivator.
