Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, also known in Japan as Persona 4: The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold, is a 2D fighting game developed by Arc System Works and under the supervision of Atlus's Team Persona. It is a sequel to Persona 4 Arena in both story and gameplay.
Video Issues:

Okay, that little glimpse of a fully-animated Thanatos in the cutscene -- even if he barely moved -- gave me shivers. Just reminded me of the original P3 awakening cutscene.

When you realize Rise's first ever opponent is against one of the strongest characters in the modern Persona series.

I feel Himiko's properties in this manner follow the same logic as the Wild Card though
A Wild Card user can change Personas due to people displaying different social personae depending on the situation and scenario, with a little push from Philemon the Wild Card users can take full advantage of this concept with little in the way of obstructions
Rise meanwhile? She's a school girl who works in her family's tofu shop, she's an idol singing and dancing on a stage, she's a model posing for commercials and posters, she's an actress saying lines in tv shows, interviews and advertisements
All of these situations are part of who she is, but she has strongly developed social personae for each of these settings, ones that she has clearly defined, identifies strongly with and has experience taking
Her LIFE is basically a shining example of what the Wild Card itself emulates, hence why, even though it's always Himiko, her Persona can likewise adjust to scenarios in the same way as she does in the real world
So... are gonna ignore, that Rise have 3 FREAKING PERSONA FORMS?!
Actually it's 4 including this one which is really impressive because pretty much no characters that aren't wildcards have that many (which doesn't even really count)

Support, Combat and "Stage" which a sort of emotional conduit to co-operatively channel one spell
Kanzeon and Kouzeon are typical second and third awakenings leading to a stronger Persona due to a stronger heart

The fact that Rise was able to beat Elizabeth when she had the Fool Arcana by herself is a feat.
Fuka is still better than Rise when it comes to everything surveillance though. Sorry.

@@zjsopro yep, that's why i said Elizabeth was never serious because current Yu without wild card is too weak so she only need just one persona to even the fight and she still overwhelming, Margaret took it more seriously with three personas but technically still holding back.

It’s ultimately up to the writers but Rise definitely has the strongest argument given that her whole character arc in the games is realising that she has multiple Rise’s for her different situations, letting her form different Himikos (like Akechi I think). Futaba could probably do that too with her focussing on becoming more independent in confidant, Fuuka tho I don’t know (haven’t played P3) but in this game she was broken at Navigating and can summon her persona in the real world so she’s fine on power level
Likely so. Futaba has shown an inkling of it in Royal. I suspect that a bit more of a push and she could do this. Perhaps her UFO form would have lase guns appear and the canopy open, showing her putting herself in the line of fire if you will. Not sure on Lucia, but maybe some crystal bit of armor?

This is why Margaret > Elizabeth.
Margaret tries to help you by giving you hints and clues before challenging you to battle when she feels you are ready.
Elizabeth deliberately uses the wrong words to describe things in casual conversation, only speaks to you in vague and cryptic terms, and randomly attacks you on the street because SURPRISE COMBAT TEST.
I guess it fits her character. That's why she abandoned the Velvet Room. And that's probably why she was chosen to help a depressed suicidal person while Margaret was chosen to help Narukami.
