This is a special Spring Edition, with the Cabriolet roof, color-keyed door handles, special wheels and gold ornamentation, and perforated leather in the seating areas.
I owned an 89, burgundy in and out ... otherwise about the same car (engine/trans) I see many ppl criticize this motor ... I owned the car for years, using it as a daily driver. It was a fantastic car throughout. Fuel mileage was awesome, the motor was reliable and for me always dependable. Granted, it was no powerhouse, but after all, that's not what one buys this level of car for. In my opinion, whoever buys this one won't have any regrets. I sure didn't. I liked that car well enough that when it's retirement finally came, a friend and I traveled from Ohio to South Florida where I bought an 03 SLS and trailred it home, hoping it woukd be equal to the 89. No comparison! The one-owner 03 had 70+k miles so I figured it woukd be another multiple year driver. Nothing but nickel and dime repairs ... some sort of engine code always glowing. Summary, whoever buys this this one from Volo, whether as a collector or driver should enjoy years of dependable driving. I'd buy it in a minute if I could budget it in! Nice Caddy!

Awesome Cadillac. My Mom had one just like that but it was white with a blue interior. One thing though...All you guys do the same thing...you keep referring to the car as "THIS THING". You really should say "this car" or "this Cadillac, etc. I still love you all, keep 'em coming!!
Absolute marketing genius on the part of General Motors. The shrunken down "Low Income Cadillac" model was marketed primarily towards welfare and food stamp recipients. Finally, practically anyone could drive in luxurious comfort and style.
@@daveklein2826 you clearly are an uneducated moron. I have a brain & knowledge, you need to open a book! And caps lock? You took communication from Trump it appears.

I love the car but just don't like that red dashboard and carpet.... Oh well..
Neekto.
Wooow..., and the Price is a Steal..*
Too bad that engine was a disaster for GM.
And yet 31 years later it is purring.... Use your brain BEFORE YOU COMMENT

Wrong! 4.9 was fine. Northstar and 4100 were disaster
4 5 and 4.9 were an upgrade from the 4.1 engine
@@Ef-Dog585 definitely not terrible. I have a 92 allante with a 4.5. My dad is the original owner never had a problem
Did you forget how bad the engine is the people who owned it were probably afraid to drive it
Stupid comment, it's here 31 years later......please use your brain BEFORE YOU COMMENT
I never had a problem with the engine. 4.9 and 3.8 engines is one of the best
