After I saw the list I looked up a couple of Buddy cartoons just to see how bad he could possibly be. During both of them I was either yawning or shouting “Do something!” He’s the most boring cartoon character I have ever seen!
13:13 to 13:20 Yeah, “The Draft Horse” and “The Dover Boys” are one-shot cartoons that are both directed by Chuck Jones. The horse in the former short was not named, while the character in “The Dover Boys” is Dan Backslide, a pun on the name of the Rover Boys series villain “Dan Baxter”. Forgot to mention that the “Dover Boys” is based on the “Rover Boys” series. Both of the shorts have several things in common. For example, they’re both released in 1942 and spawned memes. However, one thing they don’t have in common is their copyright status. The copyright for “The Draft Horse” was renewed in 1969, while “The Dover Boys” lapsed into the public domain in 1971 as United Artists, the owner of the short at the time, failed to renew the copyright in time. As a result, the short became quite popular in later years. However, it was controversial for nearly getting Chuck Jones fired.
How is it in a list like this that includes Pepe Le Pew and Tweety Bird the one I disagree with the most is Charlie Dog? I think what I like about him is his enthusiasm. How nothing really gets to him, in spite of being a homeless dog. And at the end of the day, can you blame the guy for wanting a master? He just wants a roof to sleep under. Sure he can be smug and rude about it at times, but that's just a Looney Tunes thing. He kinda gives me vibes of a more antagonistc version of Dug from Up. Not to mention he has a ton of fun zingers, like when he tricks Porky into thinking he's pregnant so he'll let him stay, only to get kicked out again when he reveals to have a boy's name. Or when he tells him "I'm part Labrador Retriever! Get me a Labrador and I'll retrieve it!"
I prefer the Tiny Toons versions of Foxy, Roxy (Foxy's girlfriend), Goopy Geer, Big Bee, Bosko, and Honey better. Also, there's my name & opinion from the Cartoon Reserch 20:20.
You mean this one cartoon; ua-cam.com/video/2y6CNuffBi0/v-deo.html which not only would later be resung by Gossamer; ua-cam.com/video/tz5o21nkCtY/v-deo.html&pp=ygUYaSBsb3ZlIHRvIHNpbmdhIGdvc3NhbWVybebut also would be infamous in South Park? ua-cam.com/video/XSDNYrEL8SU/v-deo.html&pp=ygUcaSBsb3ZlIHRvIHNpbmdhIGVyaWMgY2FydG1hbg%3D%3D
Well the reason being there was a scene of pepe in Casablanca flirting with a lady and she was gonna slap him away but sadly cause the actress was a survivor of sexual harassment they cut pepe out of the movie. Same with Penelope
32:43 *FINALLY!* Someone who also feels for Sylvester (it's really hard to find anyone who has a opinion on Sylvester that isn't from a critic video!), I always felt bad for Sylvester and rooted for him to win and have fun moments all the time. Especially since I was a toddler and first watched the classic Looney Tunes shorts at such a young age! And Sylvester is my #1 FAVORITE cartoon character of all time, and learning more about him, made me love the guy EVEN MORE than I already did.
9:24 and 10:23 It's FASCINATING to learn about that! Makes me see more layers to Porky than before. 16:55 Lol, the way Brave was like *"HOW DARE **_YOU_** FOXY"* For the thought of ripping off Porky's lines supposedly XD 25:49 I didn't know Rob Paulson voiced one of them! Makes sense considering his iconic voicing for Pinky from Pinky and the Brain. "NARF!" XD 26:51 I looked up what Bunny and Claude are based on, and they're based on actual American criminals Bonnie and Clyde (as well as the movie in 1967). The two are criminals from the Great Depression who were infamous for 13 murders and several robberies and burglaries. (Bunny and Claude seem to glorify it so, that's a OOF MOMENT) 36:33 Also, he was just a racist version of Elmer Fudd, so... THAT'S f*cking terrible! But I gotta say, Brave Lionheart's response to this was HILARIOUS. Especially when he said "Didn't _need_ to see it!" XD LMAO 38:51 The way you said "NOT AGAIN" is hilarious, you should be a voice actor or something I swear! XD 39:25 The trio did the Warner Bros world a BIG favor! 39:34 Even Warner Bros themselves hated Buddy ever since! So there's the cure for insomnia XD (The fact he's human Mickey with none of the charm, is another OOF MOMENT). I gotta see the times Bugs lost it XD
@@arielruh7773 Right! It doesn't help that in the last episode of Sylvester and Tweety Mysteries (titled "This Is The End"), where Sylvester dreams of eating Tweety Bird and eats him up completely, and Sylvester appeared to be a reviled criminal who'll recieve torment, hate and spite as if Sylvester committed genocide or something, all over him eating a bird like cats do. This is probably why Sylvester doesn't really want to succeed in just killing Tweety when Antimat asked us the question at 31:51

17:00 foxy-1931
Porky Pig- debuted in 1935
“Later years it got better” he says while watching the last years of the looney tunes
Fast talking sniffles was actually an improvement
Think about that for a second
38:53 to 38:56 - OH NO, NOT THIS RACIST CRAP AGAIN!!! What were the animators thinking???
They wanted Buddy to get eaten by a stereotype cannibal.
Racial stereotypes were pretty much a thing back then
Sniffles looks the main character in American Tail
I prefer the Tiny Toons versions of Foxy, Roxy (Foxy's girlfriend), Goopy Geer, Big Bee, Bosko, and Honey better.
Also, there's my name & opinion from the Cartoon Reserch 20:20.
It’s about time you reacted to an animat video
I loved that owl episode as a young child though it was so funny especially the owl.

Fun fact: Following that video, I found myself watching tons of Looney Tunes videos, especially re-evaluating my interest in the Road Runner.
Ah awesome
@@BraveLionheart The same thing happened recently with The Muppets after watching Part 2 of his Animation Lookback on the series.
8. Sniffles I always mistook him as feevel or a more annoying knockoff of him the pioneer mouse.
Yeah I felt bad for porky’s original actor for being fired due to his stuttering
Stuttering is hard thing to get over I have a little stutter myself
20:29 Holy Cow, That's Me!!!
I disagree I loved Tweety bird as child too the very first school bag I ever owned and used was a Tweety bird backpack/rolling case from Wal-Mart.
In the thumbnail why does the in the picture look the main character in American tail ?
Not really sure
@@BraveLionheart look at the box art of America tail and the main character and sniffles
10. I agree I say sylvester son junior is definitely a no 10. I hated him as a child.😒
You and Animat sound so much alike! I just realized this.
you right, these guys both sound and even look the same in appearance.
When I first watched Space Jam A New Legacy, I noticed that Pepé Le Pew was NEVER featured in the movie at all! I asked myself why is that.
Well the reason being there was a scene of pepe in Casablanca flirting with a lady and she was gonna slap him away but sadly cause the actress was a survivor of sexual harassment they cut pepe out of the movie. Same with Penelope
@@BraveLionheart 😦
@@andresgonzaleztorres3808 yes that is true. It is said. Also what is sad is that marvin and Penelope were never used in the movie

Surprised Inki wasn't on the list
No he didn’t leave
They replaced him because his stutter made him too expensive to record
24:13 To show how little Animat cares, That cartoon involves him and a dog competing for a bed for sleep. No female characters

lol. U aren’t the first one to think that
