Please don't squeeze the finger while drawing capillary blood as the tissue fluid oozes out and mixes with the blood thus diluting the blood sample giving false results.

First i want to thank you a lot for this video, it helped me learn a lot!
And secondly I want to ask,
Why don't we put a cover slide on the specimen before putting it under the microscope?!

On doing DLC there is no need of using cover slide. Hence its oil immersion 100x lens is used. The lens should touch the oil
After counting we have ti rub the tip of lens using spirited cotton

We dont have to rinse it completely with distilled water na otherwise the slide will be washed up completely and we will get negative results so its better to put the thumb on the slide so that it shouldn't rinse completely otherwise it will show wrong results

Distilled water is the pure form of water which is made heating , boiling, cooling vapours, that is a hypotonic solution but saline made my adding sodium chloride in water which is isotonic solution use for IV fluids.
