OMG the part that KD talks about the audience member who said "I didn't come here for that" (about the English portion) reminds me of something that I myself did. When I first heard of Krishna Das's music I said.... oh no not another American white guys pretending to be an expert of Hindu chants....and then 10 years went by I never listened to KD. Last week I actual listed to Krishna Das's chants and needless to say my Spiritual practice has gone to whole new level! His voice is so gifted and immersed in devotion that once you Chant with KD you would never want to Chant with anyone else....my favorite is Radhe Govinda and Om Namaha Shivya. He is so blessed that he stayed NKB for two and a half years 🙏

I only chant Maha Mantra and before that i was a lot of signs, a lot of messages in songs, smelled my sister months after her death, smelled also my mother in law

i have been listening pretty much constantly for 6 years. KD I chant inner voice..hanuman chalisa my favorite. btw my kids hate you. they groan " no more krishna das"

Kd can sing, but he shouldn't be counselling people. Hundreds of people lived with maharajji (cooks, assistants, security guards, drivers) would they all become councellors? KD is a work in progress, singing stolen bhajans and stolen tunes from the poor in India without giving any credit, but hey his albums become copyrighted LOL... ramdass was more genuine
