I have been watching drumlines for more than 60 years and this line is one of my all time favorites. Great precision, showmanship, drumming, maneuvering and coordination. The people responsible for managing, choreographing, arranging, directing and discipline are doing a fantastic job. What a joy it is to watch and listen to this drumline. Thank you for who you are and what you do.
yes scv very clean with a very very musical book. rennick's "method" is hard to stop. But these boston kids are from another planet if you ask me. scv didn't give me goosebumps like bac did. surreal.
I’m still waiting on you to name 3 things Boston had in their book that wasn’t in Vanguards book. The kindergarten book was the one where the battery just played loud and for only 5 and a half minutes of their whole 12 minute show. Time to get educated!
They were ticking man lets be real, SCV had a few things, but there was almost something every phrase. i know its a lot vid, but if shit is flying standing still so it probably is on the move too.
Pedagogy. By using the cowbell, McNutt is in the part and can intimately determine micro push-pulls in tempo when they exist so he can correct it. You don't get that sense of situation awareness with a met.
Thanks for the video. Great seeing this group develop over the year. I was hoping they would win drums but still my favorite book by far. Great video

Man, these guys and SCV were just a step above everyone this year.
The Tenor line was awesome! That’s what I played! Hats 🎩 off!
So amazing! The exercise at 2:20 is very similar to 1987 SCV exposed snare lick just added a diddle. Tasty indeed.
scv was just so fuckin clean this year but i feel like boston will win drums very soon.

I disagree and think boston was better
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G - greez from Basel, Switzerland!
Awesome!
Who is the gal in the snare line? I think she will be center snare 🥁 before it’s over! Very consistent !
She was center at Music City Mystique earlier in 2024
@@benjaminkenobi21 I don't think thats the same girl is it? She looks like she marched for BAC 2023
@@mccrayc9258she also in 2023 bac, and for 2024 wgi, she is als9 the center for music mystique
Should of wom imo. Once again dci gives it to the line playing kindergarten level book 80 percent of the time as if that's hard to play perfect..
Cry

Cowbell metronome is unnecessary. Use another stick, damn.
it's not unnecessary. it's a legendary hype, and will remain as such
Bro hates fun
