The scariest part is that this was AFTER he overdosed, meaning he had to actually learn how to rap and put rhymes together again. It's almost like he got better after because look at him now with Kamikaze and Music to be Murdered by, he's a wordsmith now. I mean he's always been, but it seems like nowadays his rhyme schemes, flows and cadences has gotten to a God level.
@@jasonhoward2613lol he can cover the whole world in events bro and you’ll still be bored of it. You cry about the dumbest shit these days. That mfr can repeat himself every damn song and still be better than anyone round this globe still over 50 years old bro. Think about that real hard
I'll never understand why ppl hated on this, the fact em can literally rap better than most rappers on different accents it's a flex.. he literally the thanos of rap
Would love to agree with this, because of the use of accents he discovered a new way of rhyming, he learned to bend words that shouldn't rhyme but he made it rhyme because of the accent, it's wild
Makes you not wanna rap? 😂🫵🏼😂 Bro back when I use to be in the studio all day,,, I felt the same way after listening to em. This dude is beyond the best lyricist ever.
It’s also wild how he elaborated on how crazy he is JUST because it would be crazy enough for him just to be able to name every serial killer whoever existed in a row in chronological order. But yet he can also name every other detail also shows he’s even more crazier than you would expect
Verse 2 is one of his best verses of all time from a technical standpoint. Relapse and Refill is his most technical album by faaaar and if you disagree, you aren’t listening hard enough.
I think what makes Eminem the goat is the fact that these debates can be had on “what his best verse is”. Some say Relapse is the best album he’s ever dropped lyrically (prior to MTBMB imo) Edit: and MMLP2 was his peak for bars and metaphors. Relapse he pushed his rhyming ability. This man is the Goat no matter how you chop and screw it
yes! I've been waiting for this, love seeing your reaction, that second verse was lyrically insane, the full break down on serial killers was unmatched. I commented this song a bunch and you said it was waiting to be edited so i've been waiting. haha
Shout out to Nikki Grier she on so many em tracks without the recognition. She on this track on the hook behind em. She's also at the beginning of premonition and so many more tracks
Anyone who hasn’t still needs to listen to this album from start to finish plus Refill as well. The rhyme schemes and production are amazing. I never understood why people shit on this album. This is 10x better than Encore or Revival IMO. Crazy, zany killer Eminem is one of the best versions of Eminem and this is entire project of that Eminem.
This song was from Relapse where Em was relearning how to rap. When he was in rehab, prior to this, he spent a lot of time watching serial killer documentaries so that’s why this album features a lot of serial killer references
Eminem is so far ahead of anyone in the GOAT discussion it isn't even a discussion. This is just one of 50 random wacky offbeat songs that is a complete banger and lyrical masterpiece that most artists could never even dream of making.
Honestly, big cred to this review BOTH of you really listened and even gave me another light on that second verse. When one listens to Em a lot, one gets "spoiled" with another level so I did not really realise how great that second verse is, its really flawless and reminds me of his Patiently Waiting verse which is one of his best - top reaction. Also the hook is genius catchy on this one.
I’ve been waiting for you to do this one for so long bro haha I put this on repeat in the gym. Beat and the way he rhymes like an instrument is so insane.
2nd verse murders with absurdity of the fact that he can go into that much detail and make it fit a rhyme scheme first time i heard it my brain glitched like wtf run that back.. bro sounds like he just rhymed a casual conversation with his therapist
Wow you guys droped a lot of Em reactions!!! Love this album, i still can sing it all tracks😂 fun fact about this album: the only track wrote under the influnce is "Beautiifull." And hits hard when u know it.
The reason why I said the song is not about ganja is because I believe it's an allegory. As you said, Em's just rapping and there's no coherent theme. But he never raps freestyle songs. There's always something specific that he's addressing even though the song might be all over the place. The way he says he knows every serial killer in chronological order and their m. o. makes me think he's talking about other rappers and their techniques. Eminem studies other rappers. Plus he mentions Dre a lot and in the beginning he says "I smell something in the air that's making me high", which sounds like "hi" (a reference to "hi, my name is"). And at the end he says "this isn't even a weed thing, I ain't even smoke anything, I ain't even drinking". So there's something deeper than just freestyle raps. I think the song might be about him being able to make music without drugs. He's basically saying that he's a good rapper even when he's sober. He was writing this song after experiencing writer's block and getting sober. He was like "yea, I still got this, let me write a dope song about it".
When i tell YOU this song gets me GOINNNN like no other fucking song. That 2nd verse??? Shit turns me into a fucking wild animal😂. I cant even put it into words, that shit goes so unbelievably fucking HARDDDDDD 🔥
When you witness greatness you have two choices. You can get intimidated and throw in the towel or you can get back in the booth and keep working towards the 10,000 hours of practice it takes to be considered a master. No one ever talks about the hard work and every waking minute practicing their craft to get where they are. Not one started out any where near that point.
Again, Marshall proves exactly how (er, I'm MY opinion at least) he can just take a bunch of random words and he can put them all together and how he can just make them all rhyme and sound awesome in the best that he chooses to use to make it all 'rap' 😁
I'm not a fan of the accents, maybe because he used accents in almost ever single track on this album, because thats what he thought people wanted, but i have a feeling even he knew it was way too much which is why one of the only tracks that doesn't used accents is the very last track on the album and its titled "Careful what you wish for" ... people wanted him to rhyme everything too much and i think this was a subtle way of him saying 'thats not what you really want'... i could be trippin, but i don't think so.
The scariest part is that this was AFTER he overdosed, meaning he had to actually learn how to rap and put rhymes together again. Ye his rhyme schemes wordplay cadence and flow are nuts but it’s his recycled or downright uninteresting concepts he’s doing
Also his beats and mixing fell pff for me… it’s not bad it’s just not slimenim it’s just kinda marshal🤷♂️ idk just me ig

Many people hated on this album cos of the accents but I liked it more because of them. Shows how versatile and creative Em is

Someone said this was mid? The beat alone makes this amazing.
People dissed the album at the time, saying it was mid. But it’s 1 of his best ones
I requested this and everyone was telling me how mid that was and “why would you pay for this request”. This is a top 10 for me personally
Saying anything
Yesss I'm here for all new Eminem uploads!
Makes you not wanna rap?

One of my favorite Em songs right here. That second verse is too good but I love the first verse a lot too.
You'd think eminem was born this way but if you look back on his past he was constantly studying and polishing his wordsmith skills since he was a kid
Ems known for his mixin, Busta even said em insisted on doin the mixing for calm down, its like an added touch for him
Shout out to Nikki Grier she on so many em tracks without the recognition. She on this track on the hook behind em. She's also at the beginning of premonition and so many more tracks

Ya i 100% agree always had to defend it but i always knew 🤔😏
If you check, eminems best verses on relapse and recovery, are mostly the second verses.
I feel like on relapse the 3rd verses are usually the best. Stay Wide Awake, Music Box, Buffalo Bill & 3 AM all have insane third verses
This song was from Relapse where Em was relearning how to rap. When he was in rehab, prior to this, he spent a lot of time watching serial killer documentaries so that’s why this album features a lot of serial killer references

The keyboard and piano is done by Luis Resto, drums, additional instrumentation and mixed by the good Dr.

This is on my regular playlist… 🔥
Soon after Stay wide awake , the best Eminem song in my opinion , you get this 😂. Such an underrated album
That second verse never gets old
Waiting for this from so long🔥
“I feel like DANCING I feel like Dancing!” 🤣 The hook on this reminds me of the hook from Wayne Marshall-Legalize Ganja
He's the goat no question
the entire album is insane

Yup 😎
Beat and hook is too good!
Lil Wayne and Bezz Believe dropped a new song today at 3....called FIRE MARSHALL 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Super underrated song
6:26 I have that same reaction listening to so many songs from Em. 😂
8:04--Jack the Ripper is said to be the first serial killer (that we know of ).
Boys and berry icecream is michael jacksons favorite flavor lol
Eminem does his own mixing
Man gotta let that Dre beat ride at the end. It's so damn clean

The fuckin night just begone
9:42 that makes me not wanna rap..😂 nooo don't give up.. even Em once thought of giving up listening to "yoke the joker".. imagine Eminem giving up

You need to do "Eminem - Almost Famous"
"What EVERY Fart Smells Like (1000+)"
Til this day this song has me shook still, especially the 2nd verse. Em is that dude man wtf!
I just smoked some 35% THC I got at the dispensary (it's legal here) called Mojave Sour! I'm wasted!🤪 Perfect timing for this song!💯🤣❤️✌️
ALWAYS remember that Eminem does almost all his own hooks. Rappers just don’t do that.
Dr Dre snapped on this album
Kronilogical is a wild double
Definitely should have used ese holmes
I remember when I paid to request this everyone was like nah that song is garbage 😂😂😂
