Quite a show. Great tenor. Loud lead singer. Burman is one of the better bass singers today. Observation, where would they be if there had been no Statesmen Quartet? Entertaining.
I love there music i grew up on there music when i was kid to my teen years and i still listen to there old music my childhood
The original group is fabulous. McCray Dove is probably the best lead singer out there today, he knows how to sell a song.
Burman reminds me of Chief, especially on songs like I wanna know
Thanks for posting!
LOL. RIP the bass guitar. Love Burman.
Burman is an old-time bass singer. He has a booming bass voice. Not like some people today.
Love Burman as well!
Man, that's still the same energy they gave when they first hit NQC stage.
Wish they were still full time.
I love them too. It would be good to see them more often. But, I'm not sure McCray's voice would hold up to singing full time.
Isn't Mcray still in a pastorate?
@@johntabler349 Yes, McCray is still pastoring an Assembly of God church close to the coast in North Carolina.

@@johntabler349 Yes! I go to every Dove Brothers reunion concert that I can. I plan to be at the one in February at Bill Bailey's winter convention.

Without a Statesmen Quartet, I guess they would be imitating a different quartet. Burman is highly underrated as a bass singer.
