It takes more than height to dominate in the NBA. The late Manot Bol was an example. he was nearly 7’7” but only a good shot blocker. Shaq developed at 7’1” that is how he got to be great! He was a big foul machine running people over. Guys like this guy usually do not succeed in Basketball. The Tallest man from Iran played basketball for their team. I believe he is 8’1” and not all that good. Yao Ming at 7’6” is the only one that tall to make it to the HOF but he had to develop a lot but he gives a lot of credit to his buddy SHAQ in helping him develop to such prowess. This kid needs the same type of mentor and development if he is to succeed. We can only hope. Only then he might be the tallest player to play in the NBA that is HOF but that is a hopeful projection and not a reality. He is not the 1st as I pointed out the tallest man still alive not that good. There were others in the past at 7’10” that failed. This kid we can only HOPE!
