Your explanation is so great that I felt like I haven’t learnt this kinda things at school. They seem to be like very hard to do. I really appreciate you. Keep it up!
It seems to me that you should have started with WHY you separate a binary number into groups of three. A 3-bit binary value can hold the decimal range of 0 to 7 which is the range of digits in an Octal number.
You make more sense than my teacher does teaching this subject. I've been lost for the last week, watching these videos I finally know what he has been talking about
Thank you! That is much simpler and faster than finding a conversion chart or punching numbers into a calculator. I was not taught the 4-2-1 method. Now I need to find a similar fast and easy way video to convert OCT to BIN.
That was my first thought. I was a chemical engineering major and I used this guy all the time, now I'm studying computer science and I was like damn where can I find info on this? And here he is!
literally just finished calc 2 and bio 101 for my summer semester now im starting my first CS course and every single time i wind up on this manz channel. he is a god.
If any of you have the following question: WHY do we have to separate a binary number into groups of three? The answer is: Binary numbers are separated into groups of three when converting to octal because the octal system uses base-8, and 2^3 (or 8) is the closest power of 2 that's less than or equal to 8. This means each octal digit can be represented by three binary digits.
For people asking how to convert a binary fractional number into an octal number, separate the integer part and the fractional part, do this method separately for each and add them. For example, if the number is 10111.0110, the integer part is 10111 and the fractional part is 0110. 10111 (AKA 010111) is equal to 27 and the fractional part 0110 (000110) is equal to 06 so the whole number is equal to 27.06.
thank you so much, sir, I have been worries about this maths because I have exam this week but now with components i can write the exam I don,t know what to say to describe how mush I'm happy right now thank you, sir

Same here. I can't anything my teacher says.
But 1 video from this channel helped so much it puts my teacher to shame.
Same here I asked teacher why we have to decide in three bits and she said u learn the formula I also don't know

Thank you thise video help for my examination
Love you bro you are great teaching
I wish I learned it this way instead of using exponents of 2^n+1.
This was very helpful but you should've told about the binary to octal conversion where the binary number also has a point in between.
Thank you! This helped me a lot!
Thank you sir. Simple Explanation. Thank you 😊👍
thank you the book it and i download up but your explanation makes me perfect please post some hard once like circuit to bolean algebra
Awesome! Please do some tree diagram problems.

Thank you sir you explained too good and I understood everything :)

thanks for your help and support
Thank you much
But why did you use 4,2,1
Well its actually used for solving and the 4,2,1 thing is a multiplication of 2 everytime like
1x2=2x2=4x2=8x2=16...
I am watching from India 🇮🇳
