Have the dd8 but this is extremely tempting. Dd8 is solid but the lack of modulation on the tape and analog is disappointing. And the granular setting on the alabs is pretty sick.
True. The modulation settings is very useful to have. I find myself mostly tweaking the settings of Granule mode though. I'm still yet to figure out a usable sound out of that. Maybe that's just me.
@@post-man23 Gotcha, thank you. Btw I read on the website, there's a 1/4 and 3/8 tap tempo rhythms. Does the 3/8 make it easier to get dotted 8ths? Never seen it before
I love both of them and keeping both on my board but if I had to pick one, I would pick the DD-8 because I prefer the ping-pong and wide stereo mode there. I also like it has a dedicated exp jack. I can’t live without that Glitch mode too.
Let's not forget that the Timeslip is $70 less than a DD-8, new. Is the Boss $70 better? Not in my book. These pedals are too close for that much difference in price.
Great work and great playing! I think I prefer the DD-8 a little more but cool hearing them side by side.
Thanks for sharing your opinion!

Hi, does this work with an external tap tempo switch? I can't decide between this or the DD-8
No. It doesn’t support external switches but DD-8 does.

@@dreamercross yes that's right. It has two different tap modes. works great for dotted 8 too.
Which would you pick if you had to?
