@@earthboy1310 because I love blending the signals from loop X and loop Y, and Duophony makes it effortless. It can mix the signals in parallel or series depending on what I need. Easily the best utility pedal I've ever used. You should check out some UA-cam videos on it!

​@@earthboy1310 That's great, man! I'll try to make a video about it. Basically, the way I get the most out of it is by having different set of looper, delay and reverb on both loops. Sometimes, I just use Loop X, and other times, just Loop Y. I mean based on how I set it up, I can already have 4 different use cases: 1) Loop X only, 2) Loop Y only, 3) Loop X and Loop Y in a parallel blend, and 4) Loop X into Loop Y in series. I can switch between each use case with a tap of the preset switch. It's that easy. Sometimes in parallel mode, I could even go full wet on both loops and bring up the dry signal on Duophony. The last trick I did is installing a mute switch on Loop X send signal - by doing that, while I'm on parallel blend mode, I can record some loops on 1440 looper and let the loops going while I can just play independently on loop Y without affecting the signal on loop X - if that makes sense. Haha.

Making the Settings for Expression Pedal Functions 1. Hold down the pedal switch and connect the expression pedal. The function-setting mode for the expression pedal is enabled and the CHECK indicator lights in orange. * The setting mode cannot be entered while LOOP mode is selected. * When connecting an expression pedal to the TEMPO/EXP jack, set the minimum volume for the connected expression pedal to the “MIN” position. 2. Make the settings for the parameters. Turn the [E.LEVEL], [FEEDBACK], and [D.TIME] knobs to set the maximum values of the ranges you want to control. If you don’t want to control a particular parameter with the expression pedal, set its value to the “MIN” position. * You can set only the maximum value of a parameter range controlled using the expression pedal. Setting the minimum value is not possible. 3. Save the parameters. Press the pedal switch to make the CHECK indicator rapidly flash in orange and save the settings. After the settings have been saved, the unit returns to normal operation. * Never switch off the power while the CHECK indicator is flashing rapidly. * This setting is retained even while the power is turned off

@@post-man23 Gotcha, thank you. Btw I read on the website, there's a 1/4 and 3/8 tap tempo rhythms. Does the 3/8 make it easier to get dotted 8ths? Never seen it before

@@dreamercross yes that's right. It has two different tap modes. works great for dotted 8 too.

I love both of them and keeping both on my board but if I had to pick one, I would pick the DD-8 because I prefer the ping-pong and wide stereo mode there. I also like it has a dedicated exp jack. I can’t live without that Glitch mode too.

Thanks for the suggestion man. I just randomly picked the video I took from the aquarium and then processed using a mobile app called EFEKT. I thought the result was cool, but like you said some parts I also felt like distracting. Haha
