I had exactly the same reaction to Bois Dore lol. I had heard about Orchidee Vanille and was ordering a sample of it, then I looked at the others in the range and picked out a couple of others to try. Bois Dore was one of them. It was major instant love. Head over heels. There are some things that remind me of Serge Lutens Jeux de Peau (regret not buying a FB of it before it was moved into the expensive bell jar line, oof) and also TF Santal Blush. I love all of them. Orchidee Vanille turned out to be just a like for me.

@@MOODYBOOREVIEWSfubar1963 just have ordered Bois Doré thanks to your review ... havin´ Ambre Imperial and Bois d´Iris and what i love about Collection Extraordinaire is that the whole line is soothing, round, warm, elegant yet non-offensive .. that´s what i need for the business ... am 36 and got rid of all the designer (youtube influenced) scents= too synthetic and smelling cheap and boring .... this collection is balanced and easily wearable for any occasion!

Hi Kristina! Thank you for being here! I haven't really worn it in hot weather...but I will now! I'm always worried I will vanilla bomb those around me if I wear sweet vanilla perfumes in hot weather.
I love this line but was so disappointed by the Santal Blanc. I *love* sandalwood and on paper it was so creamy and delicious that I almost bought a bottle without sampling. Then, I thought better got a sample from the woman helping me and later tried it on for it to smell strongly of garlic, body odor. I wonder if you've tried it. It might've just been a soured bottle. Bois Doré is also yummy. I have Bois Vanille from Serge Lutens and it was too similar but now watching your video I'm intrigued again. ;)
THANK YOU! I was thinking about blind buying Santal Blanc, since I have not tried it yet, and you just saved me. I will have to get a sample. I remember feeling Bois Vanille was a very watered down, and rather benign vanilla. That was years ago though. Bois Dore is a favorite of mine for sure!
MOODY BOO REVIEWS Definitely sample Santal Blanc. I don’t know if real sandalwood can turn sour, or if it was a bad mix with my skin chemistry but it smelled strongly of farts.
I love Bois D'Iris. I also have Lys Carmin. Bois Dore has always intrigued me and you've confirmed my suspicions. Might be next on my list.
It's such a gorgeous line of perfumes Lacquerisma! The prices aren't outrageous either, so I'm not sure why they don't get more love!
