- Remnant 2 how to get the familiar mod made easy.
this guide shows you how to unlock or get the familiar mod in Remnant 2.
This secret mod is a whole bunch of awesome to use and is well worth getting.
If you are playing Remnant 2 and wondering how to get the familiar mod and why exactly it's hidden then this short easy to follow guide should be the one for you. - Ігри
Just a quick heads up, you do not need Morrow Parish start to get this. Just need huntress to be in the world, which can be achieved via Palace Courtyard start too
Don't need to 'heavy attack', just do a 'melee hit' and it'll touch the sleeper.
Great tutorial, hadn't thought about using the Dreamcatcher on The Huntress, looks like the perfect Mod for my current build.
nice hopefully you enjoy it👍
You have the best guides. You helped me get items I would never have gotten on my own
Thank you so many secrets in this game 👍
Never seen this till now. Awesome!
It counts as a summon so you can use it with the ring that adds bulwark stack per summon
nice well worth having in a summoner build👍
But ONLY when you summon it, you lose Bulwark when the bird starts attacking, sadly
Finally did it! The most difficult task yet. Took 2 days to get her to show up. It ended up having to go the palace route. 20 hours of the parrish route did nothing but just once going the false king route worked. Now that I have the mod, I don't want to use it over firestorm. Geeze is that mod insane. Nothing survives against it, with summons, with my turret and then my ar-47 wailing away. Took out one of the false kings with firestorm, summons, and a turret with pretty good ease. Not sure this familiar mod is going to be any better but I'll give it a shot.
Edit: Ok, the description for this is not right. I changed my mind, it's better than firestorm, it does even more insane damage and it doesn't kill you like firestorm can do and that means no collateral damage with your summons too.
Im having issues with the animation not happening and i just wallop her and wake her up. I sneak, i try looking at her, at the miunt. Tried charging the dreamcatcher by beating up some guys first. No luck, any ideas?
I’ve had this item in my inventory, will it work if i use it morrow parish? Or will it work if i use it in someone else’s world?
You can also do this if you have the dream catcher and beautific palace as well, since the tile set/area spawns in both versions of the world.
I would recommend farming the huntress on the imposter kings quest, instead of the nightweaver quest, as it is much faster, and easier to run through the beautific palace and just check each of the doors. One door almost always leads to the gardens or forsaken quarter. It is also a good way to farm for the assasin dagger, fey royalist set and other side room items and bosses.
i wish you could use that dreamcatcher on mudtooth when he falls asleep
hahaha this could you imagine 😂👍...there would be an awful lot of dreams to catch that guys has stories for days
@@sofasupastargamingThe sniper story he has is the best. His son Brabus talks about it also lol
Isn’t that ryuk from death note
very much reminded me of that as well👍
Man, after learning about the dream stealing and knowing about Nimue and the Huntress it made me think, "who else will it work on"? Sadly it doesn't work on the One True King. Would have been cool.
would have been nice to see what they had👍
Since he is in a slumber, that would have been cool asf!!
You can shoot her while shes chasing you because she will leave before you can kill her and then fall asleep. You dont need to run away.
she runs away but also comes back you can quite easily kill her in this stage with a strong build👍
I'm a little frustrated about this. The stuff you get from Nimue and the dead root monster has a tell through the blue glow. So how was I supposed to know that killing the huntress before obtaining the item was a mistake?
thats why its a secret mod
Rerolling worlds is an intended mechanic, to go back through worlds and acquire things you didn't the first time. That's why they designed the worlds to be slightly different each time.
Alot of stuff has 2 different ways of killing
This Huntress, you do alt version aka dream version, you get this familiar mod
Normal Huntress, you get for the Spear
Shahala, normal form aka Spectral Form, you get the spectral blade
Shahala, alt form aka real form, you get the singularity weapon
Same as with most other bosses having alt forms or alt ways to kill
Alt ways to kill such as Red Prince, if you had the Assassin dagger, crafted, you can finish Red Prince with that weapon and you get Crown helm
Faelin or Faerin King, either one you kill, you get different material and talk to the other version that still exist also rewards different stuff as well
Nightweaver, you can kill normally for the Nightfall wep or you can kill her in an alt way, requiring you to break her heart, in doing so rewards you melee claws instead of ranged wep after
So expect most of them to basically have 2 forms of rewards
I just hate that familiar has only 10 meter range.
They definitely should have it a bit larger I've not tried on this one but the A.O.E trait card may work on this mod as well as it works on most👍
@@sofasupastargaming Wait really? As first part only says 10 meter range. I thought that aoe trait only works on stuff like Labyrinth Staff that says charged attacks deals aoe or something like Enigma. A lot of things need to be tested and they should really update tooltips, Advanced Stats page, etc so we know what actually works with what.
I can't guarantee it as I'm not currently in game to test but works with big bang on the star shot and most other items that state a range such as firestorm so its definitely a possibility👍
@@sofasupastargaming I just found that things that are written in white on tooltip of any item, mod, etc are affected by traits, stats from rings, amulets, etc. On this mod this things are in white: "Faerie Familiar" so it counts as summon and benefits from things that increase summon dmg. Within "10m" so it for sure is affected by thing that increase aoe. "25" damage each attack so it also scales with things that increase mod dmg.
Well it seems you learn something every day in this game :)
How you figure that out
I'm guessing from the numerous other videos already made on this item 😂😂😂
Short range and looks like normal bird , what a disappointment 😞
Your title is click bait this is in no way secret at all
This game is absolutely stupid when it comes to special stuff! Nobody should have to re roll just to get something it’s pointless and boring
If you find that to be boring, this game isn’t for you. It is part of the challenge. Too many people cheat or use exploits to get items instead of earning them. This definitely helps a lot with preventing that. I join randoms just to help them with the final boss and 9 out of 10 times they are all cheating and still can’t beat it. This game is built like a souls game. It is not meant to be easy and 90 percent of players will never get the nightmare or apocalypse weapons and that makes me happy knowing you can’t cheat to get them
You can luck out and get this in the same world ...
This is how the 1st game worked...
If you think it's stupid, the game isn't for you... You're better off playing Offline and using God-Mode cheats ... Although seeing your unintelligent comment, I doubt you have the mental capacity to play the game and don't own it as well.
How is it boring to reroll? The maps generated are usually something different, albeit recognizable areas. Also, how is it pointless to reroll if you can earn a new item in another unique way? It adds more re-playability.
it is soul game tht why i buy it after plyng elden ring amd mortal shell@@ghostninja8

Not a secret
Nah I'd say it's a secret. Most people don't know about this, including me a few days ago even with my 140+ hrs.
@cjhorton123 I do not understand how people do not know of this. You have a weapon called dream catcher, you have npc that fall asleep. 1+1=2 in my book. Sooo I ask again. How is this a secret?
It is, for most players. It's not a secret, once you know it. But how many people would figure this out on their own, without the help of guides? Might be obvious for you but most people will not figure this out on their own, at least not on their first playthrough.
