Like how people see Jennifer Hudson as a singer, not an actress, even though she has a Best Supporting Actress Oscar on her shelf. Because we knew her as a famous singer for like 5+ years before she got her big movie roll. Relative.

She is this newer generation’s Taylor Swift. Hold up, listen. As a Swiftie who has been with her for the last 10 years, I got to grow up and learn all of life with her. It becomes a big part of your life and everything you are. I can thank TS for her songs teaching me what love is and isn’t. How deep love can be and feel. I still learn through her music to this day. A song from her Fearless album shows up on shuffle and I am 15 again and I can remember that exact time of my life and who I loved and who I was. It’s an indescribable feeling. Olivia is going to be that for the next generation and they are going to learn and grow so much from her music. She definitely is not just copying Taylor’s music, but is making her own and she’s creating that legacy and we don’t even know how far she’s going to go. But just know, she’s going to go far and I’m excited to see the inspiration she’s going to give to those who are like me back when I was 15. Absolutely amazing work.
i love how some parts of driver’s license and deja vu are kinda more talking than singing because it makes it more about the story telling and songwriting aspect other than just vocals. it somehow makes it deeper and more understandable, even in deja vu which is more upbeat and fun.

Tbh I had hoped the beginning of the song would be less, I guess slow-moving and almost drawn-out. But after hearing that it was a deliberate choice to have the beginning sound almost "off-putting and painfully calm", I thought it was interesting that they chose to do the opposite of what most would've done, with what's popular in music today. But I'm totally on board. Love their dynamic.
