I wouldn't say a lot but I do get off road more than most. Forest roads, sand washes, mountain creeks, deep snow, etc. and sometimes while pulling a heavy trailer. I need the most capable tires when those times come.

It's just a simple locking chuck. You can get them at any auto parts store.

@PAHUNTERify A two inch level on the front is all.

Do you find that 18 psi on the sand makes a real difference? Every run lower, like 10 psi? I haven't had the dually out in the sand yet... I'm wondering what a safe psi range would be when I actually do take it out. Looks like your on board system is working pretty nice for you.

@PAHUNTERify Toyo MT 315/60/20. I'm really liking them.

@tj548p Yes, the difference is dramatic. So, just dropping down to 18 psi is good enough. I wonder if anyone has done this with dually trucks. My tires run at 80 psi normally, Probably get stuck at that pressure even in low 4-wheel drive. Drop the air pressure, and I shouldn't get stuck at all.

The mud tires wear faster. I will get about 35,000 miles on this set.

@tglander99 It makes a huge difference. Most people think only about the additional side-to-side contact area of the tire but the largest increase comes front and back. photobucket com/albums/t171/tj548/DeflatedTireContactPattern.jpg (you'll have to fix the address and add the dot in the right place)

@FordsAreSick11 It's a Lariat F350. There are a million reviews of the base truck. Check out my other videos to see all the modifications.

@Roberto7474001 They are cool just for this purpose. :) Google "locking air chuck" and you'll find lots of options.

Where did u get that locking air chuck?? I need one! With the one that i have now i have to stand there to hold it the entire time im inflating the tire and it gets pretty annoying, especially with the big boy tires that need 50+ psi ;)

What kind of fitting do you use on the end of the hose to keep it on the tire instead of having to hold it on yourself during inflation?

how is the tread life compared to regular street tires?

Are you able to fit 35" inch tires on a stock suspension or do you have a small lift on it?

It's made by VIAIR and their systems are all over the internet retailers. Try Amazon or just about any other car/truck accessories sites.
