PRS Guitars and Marshall Morlock, an unbeatable combination. Nice Demo on the SE CE 24 Standard Satin Model. Marshall, just listened to The Marshall Morlock Band's new record. What an unbelievable display of talent. Can't wait to hear more.
I got mine today and OMG I love it. Can't believe it cost be only 400 quid. I'd recommend going to a shop as some of them have terrible clashing wood grains, others like mine literally look like one piece bodies. I got the cherry. So nice. More like a matte stain than paint/poly. Even matter than my nitro american Fender Strat Highway 1!
I've owned a lot of Fender's, Kiesel's and other brands over the decades and my 2024 SE CE 24 with a maple laminate cap, dollar for dollar, tops them all.
Just got the goldie for xmas! I just couldnt pass up the value at 5g as a secondary, even with a somewhat larger budget for it. It's really clean, simple, stripped down, but the blood and guts of a PRS and what I really do love is, while satin finish, it's like a stain finish, metallic but without flake... kinda unique, and I assume wont suffer from the finish satin top coats that rub away to gloss coat. It's a PRS, excited to add it to my collection. Only gripe whatsoever, not a biggie at all, it def needs some action adjustment, a little high out the box for my taste.
Hey Marshall! Congrats on getting to feature these incredible instruments!! The SE line is getting so exciting! I’m so thrilled that the lampshade knobs are now available stock, I modded my Standard Hollowbody Piezo with lampshade knobs, now they come stock is so sick!! 💪🏻🎸🔥🔥
PRS, I've just listened to your different reviews for the SE range. The new colors for 2025 are crazy😂. I bought the SE CE Charcoal in June. And now I see the blue and metallic silver. And the Charcoal Cherry for the Custom FR or Trem. I want all of them😅. I remember the bad critics about your guitars sound years ago. But my favorite are the 85/15. I've been waiting to check the price. Great job🎉
Please either make an SE CE with a hard tail or provide an aftermarket hard tail bridge. I love my SE CE-and I do love its vibrato system-and would really like to be able to add a hard tail version of the same guitar without having to resort to blocking the vibrato or using third-party parts.
Seems like a great value…will be looking into ordering one, not sure of color yet but will check them out, may partially block the tremolo if it can be done right so it just has a bit of vibrato available, not really into big bends or dives but a gentle touch of expressive vibrato or articulation(if you will) is enough for me
Can anyone please confirm if this PRS SE CE24 Std Satin has a C neck that is closer to fender strat neck feel as opposed to wide-thin neck of SE Custom 24?
The ones I played do not feel like a SECU24. The edges arent as rolled. At least compared to my 2017 SECU24 or my SESS or my wife's SEZM. 🤷. Nice guitar nonetheless
@@shawnmcginnis2508 yeah ikr, I played this satin red the other day, and it felt much better tbh (at least for my preference). The Cu24 has much wider shoulders that I feel not as easy to play. I have quilted charcoal which is $1450 CAD, planning to downgrade it to SE CE24 because of the neck. I think the only downgrade would be the price tag tho 😂
@@jamesevans2954 yeah but it felt different when I played it in store. That’s why I’m confused. @PRS should provide photos of their neck shapes on their website.
@@myke.p I am lucky enough to own CU24 , as SECU24, and my American semi-hollow CE24( converted to 24-08 style switching) . Its odd, the SECU24 and CU24 feel very close from a tactile sense. You can tell one is meant to mimic the other (at least in feel) but at a more reasonable price point. Idk if you blindfolded me and just set them in my hand (without playing) if I could tell them apart. The CE's are different. The SECE feels like the oddball. Imediate difference in tactile sensation, but tone wise it caputres some of the same core CE24 vibe and tones. Put American PRS pickups in it and I bet they would sound almost identical. Feel is not the same, but after the initial "shock" it plays great and I found it to be an excellent guitar both for the price and just as a guitar period. Best of luck !

This metallic yellow...😭♥️ Some money is going to fly away soon...
New colours!!! Love it

I have one in charcoal I got a few months ago, and it’s a real monster! Already gigged with it multiple times, great guitar!
Does it have a treble bleed already?

Own a mind that stops using these ' when they're not necessary,
Loved demoing this model!
Congrats on this video Marshall! PRS seems like a great brand to be a part of and represent
Thank you! They certainly are!!

Love that colour❤
I have an original 80’s CE and it’s my favorite of all PRS guitars. It’s my Strat.

They come with a standard black one, I just checked. They used this transparent one in the video only
Love my ‘98 CE. Next purchase will be a Special, just gotta save up that scrilla

Only $500? I'm impressed.
Do the PRS locking tuners drop right in?
What type of genre is he playing when both pick up tapped?
is there a 22 fret version of this guitar?

According to the web site it has a wide thin neck - like the SE Custom 24. 🙂

Will this come for lefty’s?
Does it come with treble bleed ?
now make a SE Custom 24 with no binding.
Why?
